I stayed in a Deluxe King Room with a beautiful sea view at the Lord Nelson Hotel, I was greeted with a warm smile from the lovely lady at the front desk, who was more than helpful. The room was lovely, clean and very comfortable. The ambiance of the restaurant throughout the day/night was warm and inviting. The food was excellent and the staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, they were friendly, informative and very attentive. Upon my departure I decided to have a Sunday Dinner in the restaurant sat by a hand lit fire, it is truly one of a kind and not to be missed. I would highly recommend The Lord Nelson to be apart of anyone’s visit to Milford Haven.

We loved the decor - dark and cool, with fun animal-themed paintings - and the staircase. It was a relaxing place to be, and particularly easy on the eyes. In the room, we loved the view out over the bay, and the comfortable, big beds! In the morning we enjoyed a vegetarian-friendly breakfast that was delicious. We were very happy to hear that dogs are allowed, so next time we shall bring our boys with us. A fantastic base for exploring the area.

It would have been nicer to have a wider range of options for breakfast, but what was there suited us perfectly. In the room, it would have been nice if we could have had the window open for airflow due to how warm it was. Also, the toilet seat slid a bit but was manageable.

The staff were amazing. My parents are elderly and my dad uses a mobility scooter after a fall last year. Although it doesn't have a lift, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, even purchasing a bath slip mat specially for them for getting into the bath to shower, even though they would have to throw it away when we left as they are not allowed to use again. The food is brilliant value for money...and the breakfast choice was brilliant. the rooms were clean, a good size and very comfy bed.

thinking abut elderly, they would have preferred a walk-in shower rather than trying to get into the bath to shower. I am not sure if they have rooms with walk-ins - they may well have, but as some of the hotel is being refurbished, it might be worth bearing in mind

Fantastic customer service from manager/Charlotte Griffiths when instead of arriving in time for the restaurant from the Rosslare-Pembroke ferry, we ended up arriving in the early hours of the night before as our ferry was brought forward (due to technical reasons). A couple on our ferry wish they'd pre-booked there too. Car parking space was a warm welcome. Loved the beautiful art and design in this high-standard pub/hotel. Full breakfast was lovely, so we were sorry to have missed out on the planned evening meal which we'd booked on the strength of. Then we out to walked out to find they have a new cellar bar and the amazing harbour of Milford Haven with thriving businesses and community just minutes walk away.

N/a - would love to stay again to try out the Nelson Suite or the Graham Sutherland Suite.

Pub/ restaurant and garden was at a good modern standard, breakfast was at a good quality. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Room decorated was very bland hole in the wall by the window which on entering the room your eyes are naturally drawn to it. There is no air conditioning in the room so leaving the window open you are kept awake and not able to have a decent night's sleep due to this constant noise from outside by the air conditioning unit. The car park was far to small and we had to park over half a mile away due to the limited car parking spaces available on the premises

The Hotel is in a lovely setting, close enough to the Marina and retail park. It seems to be kept at a high standard, everything was clean and all the staff welcoming. The bar/restaurant had a very welcoming atmosphere and the service was wonderful. Our room was lovely, really nice size. Set up nicely for our arrival and cleaned daily. Charlotte our lead contact was so helpful and really made the stay and booking stress less and helped book the four parties we had staying.

The cups in our room were dirty when we arrived, other than that no issues

The place was clean and very presentable. Nice large room with a good size bathroom and the staff where all friendly and helpful, we asked for a iron and one was delivered promptly.

Cheap rubbish Pillows so they where flat and hard and the duvet felt like a cheap dense hollow fiber duvet. For breakfast there was only one person who was managing the hotel reception, booking people in for breakfast, taking orders and preparing drinks so getting to the point of ordering breakfast was slow but the breakfast that arrived was good quality but it would have been nice to have some cereal and toast with marmalade or honey rather than just the option from the hot food menu. There was also a really rubbish TV reception.

Literally a flying overnight visit, to meet up with friends on the Marina so we didn’t spend any time at the hotel but for the sleeping. Speedy check-in via the bar as we were running late. Room was spacious, spotless and morning brew kit provided. Bathroom was immaculate/shiny as. The bar area was welcoming, jaunty fun decor. Excellent value for money. Would probably have rated higher if we’d spent more time there, but couldn’t comment on a lot of things.

Only thing missing which would have been useful was maybe a water/toothbrush glass. But just being picky, wasn’t a massive issue.
