The room was compact, cute, comfortable, tastefully decorated but adequate for our needs. We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was - the pictures don’t do it justice really. We almost had a harbour view too! It is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful harbour and was perfect us being a stones throw from our favourite restaurant Kota - highly recommend eating here, particularly the tasting menu - stunning. Also The Square do THE most delicious fish and chips, deffo worth a try too!

The room did get very warm, even though there was an air Conditioning unit! We kept the curtains closed as we had a couple lovely warm sunny days and this did help to keep the room cool whilst we were out during the day

Very clean and centrally located.

Very over priced for a room-only night stop, but I had very little choice of accomodation at the time I booked. The room overlooks a busy, noisy road - bring ear plugs for a good night's sleep, especially if you want any ventilation. Plus the soundproofing between rooms is very poor (including the plumbing sounds, slamming doors and other guests playing loud music or talking loudly without much thought to others until late evening). The room comfort and attention to detail was very nice, but as a package it was too expensive and not quiet enough.

What a lovely room. It was great to have a generous size room with a generous size bathroom. It has clearly been recently designed with, I guess, all rooms of the same standard/amenities. Everything was perfect from the lovely sheets/bedding, great shower, to fridge and use of outside area. The location was very central but in a quiet back-street. We bought fish and chips and breakfast from the local shop and ate both outside in the sun on the balcony/patio area. We walked there so cannot comment on parking etc but cannot recommend enough.

Hmm - nothing - honestly!

The location is outstanding - very close to the harbour. The rooms are generous and the bathrooms well appointed. The beds were very comfortable and, even though it is on a main road, it was quiet. The self check in is very convenient, especially if you arrive late like we did.

Cleanliness let it down in a few areas (including the bathroom) but not enough to put me off staying again if I'm in the area. I think we were the only people staying (two rooms in the property) so I guess if all rooms were occupied it could be quite noisy as all there is one central hall with all rooms off it.

it was clean and nicely set up. great water pressure in the shower. great location, confy beds.

It was impossible sleep in the heat even when the temp outside was 20 C I asked for a fan and was provided with a machine that was meant to freshen the air. It did nothing to lower temp in room and even when opening windows, air did not flow through and there was just too much noise on the street. also there is no black out curtains. TV is smaller than my computer screen.

Classy modern decor. Very clean. Great location in the center of town near great restaurants. We were walking the SW Coast Path and appreciated that there was a radiator to dry our clothes on and also a small heater fan for the same purpose.

One small concern we had is that the instructions for getting in (that we got via email) were not complete in that we were not told which lockbox to open. There were several lockboxes and we had to open a few before we got the eight one. The others we opened were empty.

Very tidy. Comfortable bed. Excellent shower.

We had a nice room at the back overlooking a terrace. We did not feel we could leave the window open when we went out as it was accessible from the deck and not secure. The room was too hot and the evaporative cooler was insufficient. The room needed a ceiling fan as there was no way to create a through-flow of air.

How clean the room was had everything you needed

Thin walls unfortunately we could hear everything! And being woken up by other guest at 4:30 in the morning to a shower and going to the toilet the full conversation slamming of doors! Our room was also the one with the stairs coming into and out of the building so not the quitest room .

Great location. Small but perfectly formed room. Lovely furnishings. V comfy bed, bedding & pillows. Great shower. Added bonus of the parking space!

Traffic noise. Understandable due to the location. Manageable for a 1 night stay. Would not book 7 nights, high season.

Even if there is no staff, we bumped into them in the morning and they are so nice, the customer service on the telephone too! The location is perfect and it's a good deal for money! We have been so lucky to find a room available during peak season, we booked just few days before!

Unfortunately we found one of the hottest period in UK, so even if the fan was on it was extremely hot in the room.
