Location is absolutely brilliant. I have stayed here several times and absolutely love it. Specials board is excellent, especially anything fishy Breakfast was good

Gluten free menu requested by my 9 year old granddaughter as she has Coeliac Disease. Helen and the chef did try very hard to accommodate her, but she said she felt "different" and said to me I hate having Coeliac Disease. I felt sad about this

We went to get and experience a traditional Cornish village by the sea in a little out of the way Cove and we certainly got it. We watched the fishermen bringing their catch in and the boats being dragged on to the shingle. Then in the morning we were lucky enough to watch them go out again by help of a tractor. Garry and Helen are excellent hosts and have thought of everything. A great breakfast in the morning as well to set us up for the day. Use the car park as you come down the hill on the left or you may regret it.

Great location, right by the coastal path! The breakfast was nice, and the food in the evenings at the pub was amazing! Great local fresh fish and very nice atmosphere too.

The room was basic and a little bit old-looking. But it was clean and the bed was comfortable so it was okay. Other customers were allowed to smoke right outside our window, so we had to watch out and shut when they were going out. It would be nice it the entrance to the building and the pub patio was non smoking area.

This is such a special place, I’ve been visiting cadgwith and staying in houses for 26 years and it’s the first time I’ve stayed at the pub. What a lovely place, beautiful rooms with gorgeous views, great atmosphere, everything easy and well thought out. Worth saying that the pub was quite quiet on the Saturday which is very unusual so if you want busier nights Tuesdays and Fridays tend to be it!

Nothing.

The staff were absolutely lovely and I couldn’t fault them at all, the place was clean and quiet for a busy pub, our meal in the evening was nice but there was not a huge choice if you didn’t eat fish but that’s to be expected in a fishing village I suppose lol breakfast was freshly cooked and was lovely,

Our stay was ok, although we did have some difficulty, although not Wheelchair bound one of our party was disabled and we found it very hard with the parking being a very long distance via a muddy track to get to the hotel, which we were not made aware of on booking. Maybe this would be something that should be mentioned when booking. I appreciate it stated there was no wheelchair access but it wasn’t mentioned you had to park miles away and walk via a track

Garry and Helen made me feel very welcome, as did the rest of the lovely staff. Full English breakfast was excellent! Sea shanties sung in the bar on Friday evenings and I was also lucky to be there for the folk music afternoon on Sunday. Great coast path walks too. A perfect weekend in a proper Cornish fishing village Inn.

We took one of the economy rooms for the night, it was small but had everything we needed. Quiet, cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was great as was the evening meal and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A great chance to stay in this wonderful village.

The room had a shared bathroom which was fine but it was freezing! (Our stay was in January)

Very conveniently situated for a stopover on SW Coastpath walk. A nice, traditional pub serving good food and drinks. Accommodation was in a separate building just to the side. My room was a good size, clean and warm.

For some reason at check in they don't just hand you a key but give you a code for a key box outside building. Not very convenient when you are loaded up with luggage and the rain is pouring down.

Helen and Gary were lovely, all staff were friendly and welcoming. The view was beautiful and could hear the sea with window open, very soothing. Beautiful walks with great view of the sea and cliffs, lovely beaches to visit, and dogs welcome. We would highly recommend

Nothing!.

Perfect location for walking the coast footpath and visits to the unique geological features of the Lizard area (i.e. a slice of ancient ocean floor). Superbly cooked food. Unspoilt location - something quite remarkable for the coast of Devon and Cornwall..

The Inn is clearly constrained by conservation / space issues associated with the historic location and hence developing en-suite accommodation would be virtually impossible.
