Sonia is a lovely lady I have realy enjoyed her company over the last few days felt as though I’d known her for ages although we only met on Friday by staying in one of her rooms I have booked to come back a couple more times

Next time I will need the downstairs room due to me struggling with the stairs if I’d have known there was a ground floor room I’d have booked it but as I said I’ve had a wonderful stay I would like to mention one thing that I think may help I felt that kettles could be in the bedrooms so the guest could make drinks whilst in there rooms just a suggestion but a fully equipped kitchen was down stairs it was something I could have done with as I found it so difficult keep going up and down the stairs to make a drink but defernately not a criticism

I had a wonderful experience staying at Lovely Home in Reading! Sonia, the host, was very kind and friendly and took great care of my needs and dietary requirements. She provided clear instructions prior to check-in and was always available on call if any assistance was required. The rooms and shared spaces (kitchen, living room) are extremely clean and in good condition. The kitchen is well stocked with food and cutlery. Overall, the facility provided is excellent. Lovely Home is a perfect place for students and other visitors to the university, as the campus is just a 15-minute walk away. There is also a bus stop near the home which provides easy access to the city centre and other parts of Reading. I highly recommend Lovely Home for anyone visiting Reading, especially for the first time!

Lovely to stay in someone’s home, Sonia was a great host even letting me chat to her and say hello to the cat! Wish I could have stayed the 2 nights as I had originally planned but it ended up only being the one due to a work event! The room was cosy & cute with services nearby & there were services in the kitchen I could use as well. This is definitely the best home stay b&b I’ve stayed at! Much better than a travelodge!!

Nothing to mention

The beds are not comfortable at all. The double bed is like water bed,. One person moves, the other can feel it. Sofa bed is not comfortable to sleep. It had got a bump in the middle when set up for sleeping. When using to sit on, also not very comfortable.

Needs blackout curtains in the bedroom and some light curtain in corridor.

Landlady is really helpful. Very prompt with replying emails. Ever so happy to answer questions you have. Location is just great. Lots of restaurants close by...2 minutes walk. University of Reading is about a pleasant 12 minute walk away. Buses to take you to Reading City is a 2 minute walk from the B n B.

Pillows were just so thin. Had to fold it to get the height I wanted.

Very clean and good location ,easy to get too and to get in etc good shower and modern,lovely host,easy to talk too

Hard to park had to walk a little way, very noisy bed but on the whole good

very nice tidy and welcoming place Great quality and clean The land Land lady was so kind, considerate and friendly I would definitely come back if I have to stay close to Reading again

Breakfast no greatly organised but was pretty good and the landlady very kindly offered everything she has in the fridge and cupboards to take

The room and bathroom were very clean. The host was very nice. The location is extremely close to UoR.

The location, through no fault of the owner, has very loud people passing by between 11pm-1am several nights of the week. Perhaps the host could get noise muffling curtains.

I loved the host, she was so friendly and warm. My favourite was the bed, the sheets were so soft and I slept well. The house was super clean and I loved the fact that my room was en-suite. I wish to stay here every time I am in Reading.

The room is clean, big enough, and at a very cheap price. It was lovely to use the shared kitchen as well and the good options for breakfast. The property owner was very responsive and accommodating.
