The staff are all very welcoming, friendly and can't do enough to make you feel like you've arrived at your home away from home.. beds are very comfy, bar chairs comfy, beautiful building. We travelled with our dog.. she was treated like a princess! :-)

The spa is more sports related.. it feels like its used after people have had a heavy workout. The focus isn't the spa.. we didn't enjoy it too much...the hotel itself is much more relaxing!

The welcome and attitude of the staff, excellent!

As we were spending, sadly, little time at the hotel, we booked a cosy room. The size and description were fair but we compared the room to an average 3 star. I’m sure the soft furnishings and finish of the room could be better. Whilst the building of the hotel is stunning, I felt the decor was a little flat and dull - I am being critical.

On arrival we were upgraded to a suite and the room was ready early. The staff were all lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. It was calm, peaceful and quiet (although we did visit on a Monday) We had lunch and dinner from the bar menu and both were lovely! Usually something isn’t amazing but it was honestly so lovely. We sat out on the terrace at lunch and in the lounge area in evening. The breakfast was just the same, delicious. Again the staff were happy, helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. I rarely leave reviews but felt I had to after our wonderful stay. A little getaway I will never forget.

Literally picking for issues as it was so nice but the tv’s were very dated and dark. Could do with upgrading.

spa not joined to property, would not be ideal in winter pool to shallow to swim properly could prune trees immediately in front of terrace to improve views extend dining and breakfast times- too restrictive breakfast finishes too early at 0930 and dinner too early at 2030 some of bedrooms quite low ceilings

Reception staff were really welcoming, which continued with other staff. The building is very impressive with its historic features, but the facilities were all very good and modern, especially alongside the lovely spa and gym. Food was fab. Wonderful massage!

Could trim some more of the trees to improve the lovely view from the terrace.

Our stay, our welcome and our experience at Nutfield Priory was faultless. The hotel is blessed with friendly staff, beautiful architecture, impeccable decor, an affordable menu, views, peace, quiet and some artisan bread based, bottled beers that were a pleasure to sample! ( Thumbs up to the Crumb Brewery). Neither my wife or myself wanted to go home.

The breakfast was good better when part self service and table service had more choice but still very nice .

I didn’t get the room I supposed to get because of a function and the room had lots of stairs and nothing else was available but the room I did get was quirky.The jacuzzi is not very warm and only half of it has bubbles and the lights in the steam room too bright need replacing with blue lights .

Excellent service, attentive and friendly without being overbearing (particularly Steph and Ben). Good spa, great setting, comfortable room, very relaxing stay

The food was ok but a bit disappointing

There was nothing not to like. Super comfortable and excellent facilities. Good breakfast. Lovely lunch on the twrrace.

Choice at dinner could have been better. Expensive so that a return visit might nit be affordable. We are not young but were put on the sthird floor.
