Staff lovely - room ideal on ground floor for easy access - food very good and well priced - watch the drinks costs though - expensive ! Getting to Gatwick in 10 mins - excellent taxi service . Staff called for us and everything worked so well.

£17 a glass of Rose- we just asked for Rose without asking the price - seems they just chose the most expensive. to serve up. Again at dinner we asked for Rose - a bottle - They bought again the most expensive at £50 . I then checked the menu and there were 3 choices of Rose on it - I changed to the £30 bottle - just be aware of drinks cost at this Pub/hotel. Other than this everything was excellent and the staff were so helpful .

The room was lovely and spacious, to a very high standard with all the amenities. It was also quiet even though the pub garden is right outside. Very highly recommended. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding, with great options for both. We were made to feel welcome and our small dog was also very welcome and had a great time. All around a lovely experience and highly recommended!

The WiFi in the room was a bit slow, worked better downstairs. Also would have been useful to have the option to charge the car over night but I understand that this is a difficult thing to offer. Other than this, nothing else comes to mind.

The rooms were comfortable and they had so many little extras that made it feel like they really make an effort. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We had to leave before breakfast as we were getting an early flight, and not only did they package up a big and tasty breakfast for us all, they literally went out to make sure my vegan sister was included too. Absolutely brilliant. The place was also really pretty and we loved the food. Shame we just stayed the one night! Parking was also super easy and it was close to Gatwick airport. We will definitely be back :)

Nothing at all!

Breakfast - wide choice of menu. The food was very good. Room - Very comfortable with all amenities we needed. Sachets of hot chocolate would make a welcome addition to the hot drinks tray. Dinner - again a wide choice of menu and the food was very good. The helpings were enormous. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Surroundings were restful and relaxing.

The sausages were very peppery so it might be worth mentioning this on the menu to warn future guests. The venison faggots were very peppery so it might be worth mentioning this on the menu to warn future guests. The Kedgeree wasn't what I was expecting, so would perhaps be more accurately named as Macaroni cheese with smoked haddock.

Really lovely place with excellent bar, food and the accommodation is good and sits behind the pub. Have a little play area which was well used. Used as a drop off before flight from Gatwick and certainly better than a bland hotel, is very close to Gatwick and was easy to drive there.

Did not affect us as we went at Easter but the accommodation is right next to the bars Large outdoor seating area and I can imaging this might be pretty loud in summer There seemed a long delay on breakfast. Think ours was 40 minutes and some others got impression longer - wasn’t an issue for us as we had a lot of time before having to leave for airport but if you are in a rush worth checking timescales

From checking in initially, I knew it was going to be a great place. Was greeted with a friendly smile and swiftly shown my room and the facilities. Room was excellent and particularly found the walk in shower good. The bar and restaurant served excellent food and drinks and the staff were superb and friendly. Two young ladies were serving food in the restaurant and they were great. Breakfast was just what I wanted, and the lady serving was lovely and friendly. Nothing could have been better at all.

Nothing at all.

We picked The Old House Inn as it was close to Gatwick Airport but not too close. The room was clean and comfortable. It was great that there was a bar and restaurant. We stayed for dinner and I really enjoyed the Pea Mezzaluna and my husband The Pie of the Week. Breakfast was included in the room rate and my husband was very happy with the Full English. The staff were very polite and courteous. A really nice place to stay.

The weather but that was no body's fault!

The room was a very good size and had everything we needed. The wet room was a nice surprise.

We could hear guests in the room above moving about, but fortunately it was limited in disturbance. The breakfast was a disappointment, considering the good room quality and pleasant and helpful front of house staff. The vegan sausages were not nice at all, and the regular bacon was not cooked well at all - it was soggy and floppy, when it should have been crisp and enjoyable. One morning, it was served in a raging hot (and dry) bap but the actual bacon was cold. Even after complaining, it was still soggy. A bacon masterclass is needed!

The room was extremely comfortable with great beds - we slept really well and it was so nice to have proper coffee in the room along with lots of useful things like a hot water bottle 😀 Lovely staff , especially the bar man and the breakfast ladies who were extremely helpful and friendly. The evening meal was very nice washed down with lovely wine.

The only thing I could moan about was the noise from the room above us . Sounded like furniture being moved around and someone walking around a lot with noisy floorboards. To be fair this was in the afternoon and early evening on arrival and early morning on leaving .. Its maybe not as close to the Airport as we thought so paid £38 from the airport to the hotel and then £28 from the hotel back to the Airport in the morning..same route but obviously ripped off travelling from the airport to hotel. The hotel staff booked our cab in the morning therefore it was cheaper.

The charm and decor of the inn was fabulous. The food was excellent. Location to Gatwick good, however there were no gas stations on the way. Great place to stay one night to catch an early flight.

We prefer our room's entrance door to be inside a building not on the outside along awalkway. We were on the first floor and could hear the occupant on the second floor above us all night walking about, blow drying hair and talking. Also could hear the airport noise.
