Hosts so friendly. This property is a very old building so don't expect modern decor. Bed linen and towels were spotless. My brothers partner and I ate in the restaurant as family had recommended the steaks, she ordered the steak and wasn't disappointed. Non red meat eater me had the mushroom stroganoff, it was delicious. Breakfast was a very basic continental but for £80 per couple per night we couldnt complain. In my opinion our one night stay for that area we definitely had value for money and would stay again....

For the cost of the one night for that area I can't complain about anything...

When we arrived the hosts Apologised because there had been a wedding the previous day and there was lots of tidying up still to be done. But the hosts made us feel very welcome and arranged a area for us to sit and have dinner there. The meal we chose was homemade chilli, and bolognaise was so tasty it was delicious. And homemade profiteroles for desert wow what a delight. The accommodation was peaceful, and we had a delicious breakfast the next morning. Very friendly hosts.

The twin beds could have a new mattress little bit uncomfortable, apart from that we would stay again if in the area.

The breakfast was large and well-cooked: bacon, sausage, beans, tomatoes, black pudding, hash brown, toast. A second pot of coffee came at no cost. The staff were friendly throughout.

The Lamb is next to the main road, so was a bit noisy at night. The room was clean and well-maintained, but a little scruffy here and there. It could do with some more work. The management has just changed, so they'll presumably get that in hand.

Excellent welcome and very good food , the calamari and the chilli con carne were outstanding. The room was spacious and well equipped. It was a very convenient location for the Poole cross channel ferry.

The parking was a bit tight, although it was available. Outside looked a bit tired.

All the food was excellent the breakfast was so good it set us up for the whole day.

Walls in the anex could have been thicker as we heard everything the neighbours were up to.

Unpretentious, traditional , locals pub with very welcoming hosts and very nice steak.

Rear drinking courtyard where our room was is somewhat shabby, can’t say it bothered me though.
