All was great, Staff were very friendly and helpful and facilities and location were perfect. Room was quiet and clean and just right for my needs.

On the Sunday, I had booked Sunday Lunch in the evening. However when I went down too dinner to take my table that I had booked, I was told the chef have not turned up due to illness and restaurant was closed. I dont have a problem with that, it happens, but I would like to have been told beforehand so I could have made other arrangements. By the time I found out which was 7.00pm, it was too late and I had to get a takeaway.

A lovely place to stay. Great location and staff. Fair price for a so called 3 star, could easily be a 5 star with an injection of money, which is very thin on the ground everywhere.

Not having breakfast automatically included resulted in the hotel helping me to have a more suitable healthy start to the day. The staff were very helpful with the bikes which are stored in a cellar with a very steep slope.

Breakfast was supposed to start from 8am but in fact staff only arrived at that time so it was quite a wait to get served, even though I just had porridge. It made it late for us all to get out promptly for the day, particularly on "ride day" as we came and always come to the island for the IOW Cycling Randonnee and most, if not all the guests were trying to do the same thing on the Sunday.

Very friendly and nice reception！！! Although the apartment room is a little old, except for the noise from the floor, the environment is still very quiet. The family room apartment has a kitchen that can be used. Hotel on the main street (uphill) opposite the bus station, lots of restaurants. There are 2, 3, 9 bus stops in front of the hotel. Luggage storage available before check-in and after check-out.

Location was fine with lots of space. Breakfast was self-service, and included cereals, fruit juice ,English breakfast and toast. Everything was fine.

Some croissants would have been welcome, though not essential.

Good "no frills" breakfast. Single room of a good size. Close to buses, rail and ferries, also pubs and town centre shops. "Writing room" on ground floor. Pleasant traditional ambience. Not expensive by current standards! .

Several flights of stairs to my room, no lifts. Stair carpets were well worn. I was not given the wifi password or keycode for outer door on my arrival. The wifi was only available intermittently in my room on my first night, not altogether surprising as it was at the top of the building, but it was excellent for the rest of the week

I have been visiting Yelf's for about 50 yrs now and it's very familiar. It's convenient for visiting my friends and family around Ryde. The staff are helpful and efficient.

The hotel is in need of decoration and replacement of soft furnishings incl carpets. That didn't detract from my visit however. One thing I did note is that the a/c system is very noisy outside and does spoil the enjoyment of the patio area at the rear of the hotel somewhat.

The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable, we couldn't fault how clean it was, and we were also supplied with facilities such as a dresser and tea and coffee. Good location, near bars and the beach.

The cooked breakfast in the morning wasn't fully available when we first came down and we were restricted on time so had to leave before it was unfortunately. However, we were issued a refund because of this thanks to the help from one of the staff members Grace, so very grateful for that.

the property was in an excellent postition for the pier and catching buses,the hotel was well kept and clean There was an outside garden well sheltered from wind also a large conservatory area,plenty of seats in doors to enjoy a drink.

nothing much we didn’t like,we did stay in the property opposite so had to walk across the road to get our breakfast. The menu for evening meals was limited,we would of liked something more healthy to eat.
