The bedroom was exceptional. Every thing to hand large bed, bathroom had a shower cubicle and bath. Fluffy white towels. Only one down side in room was the view from the window was roof tiles. Breakfast had hot and cold choices. Had dinner in one night large choice we both had steak cooked to perfection. Staff and facilities were excellant. Staff from reception to bar and restaurant were excellant. Very knowledgeable of all facilities

The bedroom view from window was a slate roof. Would have liked a better view. As far we could see the hotel was not full.

It was a lovely quirky hotel, and the staff are lovely.

Our room was decorated nicely, but it was situated at the back of the hotel, with some sort of shed/ storage facility right outside the window, you couldn't keep window open with the blinds up, as staff could see right in, and it was noisy till about 11pm and started again by about 7 in the morning, the corridor outside the room was also noisy because other guests used as a rat run to get to other parts of the hotel, for anyone staying I would only recommend upper floor hotel rooms, which have quite a price tag. Breakfast was also a bit haphazard on the Sunday morning, had to eventually ask to order our breakfast, we sat for quite sometime waiting, but it was lovely when we eventually got it. Liked the hotel but maybe would consider somewhere different to stay next time.

We actually stayed 4-5th July. as we had to change booking as a result of family bereavement. The Hotel management could not have been more helpful and understanding about this. The location. ease of parking and exterior appearance and ambience of the Hotel was brilliant. The staff were very welcoming. The rooms were next to each other. well equipped and spotlessly clean. THANKS!! The interior decor was fascinating, exotic and eye-catching! We had a lovely evening meal surrounded by its dramatic artefacts. Breakfast was included. There was a wide choice and it was delicious. Our visit was to celebrate my Dad's 92nd birthday, as he spent his childhood holidays with an auntie in Skelton. He was delighted to find Saltburn unspoiled and so friendly. THANKS!!

Our stay wasn't long enough! Have promised my Dad I'll bring him back for longer on his 93rd!! Our second day was half day closing in the shops......next year will avoid this oversight!!

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, beautifully decorated and fabulous freshly cooked breakfast.

Room 7 - lovely spacious room for a single but staff walking past window and noise of bottles being dropped in recycling till nearly midnight. Room 8 very nice though not as spacious as 7. Intermittent noise from electric hand dryer nearby till about 10. Would have liked a view of gardens rather than both without views for price paid.

This is a first class hotel. Our room was the loft which when I booked I hoped it was going to match the price I paid and it did not disappoint. It was exceptional, huge bathroom with roll top bath, massive shower. The bedroom was lush, bed so comfy, lots of places to sit and relax and spotlessly clean which can’t be easy as it is not a minimalist room. Breakfast next day was very very nice and a great selection to choose from.

Only criticism is the tv was no where near the bed so you couldn’t watch it whilst lying in bed you would have to sit in the chairs but this is just personal choice.

Our room was very attractive, clean and spacious. The food at dinner and breakfast was well presented, tasty and very plentiful. The hotel itself was quirky and different,..... it is in a quiet location with a nice garden. The staff were very friendly and extremely hard working. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We liked everything about our stay.... a small suggestion..... the room we stayed in would benefit from a little more lighting to enable guests to read comfortably at night time.. a standard lamp would be a useful addition to the room.

The room was well furnished and clean. The bathroom a d shower fine. The food was exceptional and service in the brasserie attentive but not intrusive. The garden were lovely with fairy lights , traveller caravans and a decorated marquee...all quite magical. The decor was playful and eccentric which we loved.

Nothing really. My daughter and I are both over 6' so the room did feel a little cramped but nothing we aren't used to. Would pay the extra for a larger room with two separate double beds but most British hotels , unlike American ones, don't give you that option so not the hotels fault.

The whole setting was very good, my partners evening meal (fillet steak) had been char grilled and was slightly too charred for her liking. We informed the waiter who was very accommodating and pan fried another steak that she thoroughly enjoyed, there was no fuss at all just very good service. The room as was all of the Hotel was very stylishly decorated with a free standing bath and the bar was very well finished with furniture made of various air craft parts. Worth looking out for the wild life as well, Bears Giraffes and a Gorilla, who could ask for more!

Not much really, just the price but you get what you pay for!😂

Breakfast was good except, being gluten free, the only sausage on offer was vegetarian (the texture was awful) and that could be rectified as many sausages are available as gluten free.

The room, while very nice, didn't reflect the price. It was lovely and clean but very small for what they are charging.
