This was absolutely stress free and Chris and Janey went the extra mile to make sure that there was absolutely nothing to be dissatisfied about. They were both non intrusive but there when you needed them to be. The food was fantastic and it was cooked to Chris's exacting standards. We took our lurcher and he was made very welcome and even got a complimentary breakfast every morning! If we were to stop in Scarborough again, The Beaches would definitely be the B and B that we would seek to book. We booked initially because it was a cheap getaway, but it turned out to be outstanding value for money.

We had a 2 night stop at The Beaches as soon as we arrived there was a warm welcome from Janey who sorted us out with a parking permit for the street outside the property then showed us to our room we stopped in room 1 nice room clean and tidy with everything u needed well stocked with Tea/Coffee etc breakfast was definitely a 10/10 very nice Thanks Chris 👍 nothing was to much trouble if u needed it we would definitely recommend The Beaches and will return again at some point also Scarborough was about a 15min walk into the town Thanks again Chris/ Janey for an enjoyable stay u made us both feel very welcome

Welcoming B&B with a variety of options for a delicious breakfasts.It's a great location too ,only a short walk away from the park and centre. Helpful hosts with great local knowledge to recommend the best places to visit and eat. When notifying hosts that we will be travelling with a toddler they went above and beyond to make sure our stay went as smoothly as possible with a cot and highchair being available to us. Rooms were spotless with Towels , blankets, kettle and TV with added netflix provided. We've never felt as welcomed in a B&B as we have at The Beaches. If you're wanting to visit Scarborough and are looking to pick a place to stay then this is the hidden gem you're looking for.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Very nice B&B. Janey and Chris very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Room was nice, clean, tidy and everything you needed (nice selection of buscuits). Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. Found out later that they are dog friendly, even to the fact of offering a doggie breakfast. A big thankyou to Janey and Chris making our first stay in Scarborough enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

owners were really friendly and instantly made you feel welcome. The room had plenty of space for myself, partner and two kids. finally, the breakfast was really tasty, all the choice you would expect and good coffee. would definitely come back!

depends what you stay for. but the location was around a 10min walk to the north beach and 20mins to the south beach. wasn’t a bad walk and plenty of cafes and restaurants on route. Might be to far for some.

Chris and Janey were excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming without bring overbearing, resulting in a nice relaxed atmosphere and it really came across that they care about their guests experience. Breakfast was excellent quality and cooked beautifully, room and location were both good with the north bay around 5 mins walk away and south bay around 20 mins walk. Our first time in Scarborough but we'd certainly stay here again if we return.

Great location close to the beach with a shop, cafe and takeaway close by. Its in the quiet side of Scarborough which was good for us and you had a lovely park near by where you could go on peddle dragon boats around the lake. You could also catch the open top bus from the beach into main Scarborough and back again which was great. Our hosts were awesome always happy to help with anything, breakfast was 5 star and we even got a pack lunch fir my little girl which they did for us and out into a cold bag with a ice pack.

The initial welcome was second to none. We were introduced and made to feel right at home. The room was comfortable with everything you could require catered for. The breakfast, well that was just on another level. The fruit salad to start was a delight, the cooked breakfast was simply out of this world. Not a drop of fat or grease to be found anywhere with everything done to an exceptional standard. The freshness of the ingredients was easy to spot and enjoy. As I said on departure, the best cooked breakfast I have any anywhere. Simple as that!

Nothing at all. Everytime I stay in Scarborough, this is where I will be. I will be recommending to all friends and family. Anyone reading this, you will not go wrong by staying here!

Our Room and ensuite were clean and perfect for our needs, the breakfast was excellent and very well organised, Chris also prepared flapjacks for guests to take as a snack whilst out. Coffee was filtered and there were a good selection of teas, brown and white toast were offered. We visited the sealife centre with the grandkids which was great, we also visited Peaholm park which is a gem and only 5 mins walk form the accommodation. we would recommend the North Riding Ale Pub situated on North Marine road, its a 5 minute walk and we found it by chance, they brew their own beer and its like stepping back in time brilliant if you like that sort of thing.

Really can't think of anything thought the road noise might be an issue but wasn't in the end.

The moment we arrived Jayne and Chris made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was amazing it filled us up so much we didn't need to eat until tea time. The rooms are well stocked with tea/coffee. In the breakfast room is a fridge that guest can put wine and beer etc . We stayed in room 5 it's at the top but worth the hike it has patio doors and a Juliette balcony. Best 3 nights sleep I've had away from home. Thank you for your hospitality, we will be back.
