easy to find, comfortable room, reasonable food with plenty of choices and readily available.

I felt I couldn’t give them top marks because the room was not serviced at all during out four day stay, but I do understand that staff are very hard to come by at present and the situation in the hospitality sector is really difficult, so please don’t take this as a complaint. in fact I thought it was a good, honest solution to a widespread problem and we could have asked for more towels etc if we’d needed them.

Location was excellent. Had a sea view room with balcony which was worth the extra cost. Good choice of breakfast buffet you could help yourself to cereal, toast and full English cooked breakfast to pastries. Staff very friendly and helpful

No mini fridge in the room. Decor a bit outdated could do with being redecorated. Need to book early to guarantee your table if eating dinner at night as was packed out every night we were there. Not a massive choice on the dinner menu especially for vegetarian. Not a lot of parking spaces had to use the public car park across the road but if you produce your ticket at reception they will reimburse you

The location of the hotel is fantastic, with an amazing view. Breakfast was good with a great selection of items. We had our evening meals in the hotel, which were also good. We were fortunate to find a parking space in the hotel's car park, which was a bonus as one of our family members has mobility issues so it helped being close to the hotel.

Unfortunately, my elderly Mum in Law was located next to a room where there were two dogs which were barking frequently, and disturbed her sleep. We appreciate that this is a matter that rests with the dog owners and is outside of the hotel's control.

Good location for less than a week. Buffet breakfast good. Staff helpful. Complained about rm13 (slamming kitchen door below) and was instantly moved to Rm 25 (family size). Pub food very good, particularly the sea trout fillet. Beech walk to Bamburgh (also bus). Bus to Alnwick 1hr (castle ok, but gardens lovely), enjoyed village tour enroute. Also got bus to Embleton, beech/dune walk back 4hrs, beautiful., tho recomd stop at pub in Beadnell and bus last bit. Great Holy Is boat trip (high tide only) & Farne puffins.

Luckily not full so got moved from room 13 without trouble. Silly price - I'd just stayed in London West End for half the money in a Z hotel. Most mains c£12, but steak £28 (ouch) - West end prices. Seahouses v small so captive tourists!

We stayed for one night in this lovely hotel overseeing the small harbour of seahouses. The restaurant and the bar have a typical british look and feel which you would expect in a an old fishermen's village near the sea. Relatively low celiling, dark wood, lot's of historic paintings, great assortiment of beers, wine and other liquors and many cosy seats. Room was as described, bed felt comfortable, bathroom was clean. Finally, the staff of Bamburg Castle Inn, despite long hours of work - we saw many of them on friday till the end of the evening and then again at breakfast - they kept being polite and offered a great service.

It is selfordering at the bar, it took us a while to find out. Would have been nice to mention this on the menu, so that we would not have waited for anyone to take the order.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Location was good-we watched the waves on the harbour wall from our breakfast table! Bar was large but felt welcoming. Bedroom (in annexe) had sufficient storage and the bed was comfortable. Seahouses is a good place to visit in summer!

Our shower screen was rather stiff and noisy. For the price we paid, I would have liked a bath. The view from our room was over the Car Park. (I thought we paid a "premium" price for a "standard" room)

Me and my partner came here to visit bamburgh Castle, which is 7 minutes away from the Inn. The Inn was lovely, very well maintained and spotless, over looking the sea the views were beautiful. The room was small but spotless, the food was lovely and their food being cooked all day, dog friendly too with a doggy menu if anyone want to bring their pets. The surrounding area of bamburgh is ok but we wanted to explore, holy island is a must and bamburgh Castle is amazing the area is so pretty I can see why the people here do not want it spoilt.

Breakfast buffet was really good. Amazing for pets! Almost every room in the hotel had one, and staff were very friendly with them. The room was very confortable and clean. The location is very close to the sea side so the view was incredible from the restaurant.

The hotel had the option to order from their breakfast menu. However, this was not clear until one of the supervisors told us on our last day after we already had the same buffet breakfast. Coffee was bad! Only filtered coffee available, and if you want a cappuccino or latte you have to pay extra. We found that the younger staff were not as friendly and communicative.

We thought it was unfair to do garden maintenance during breakfast time and lock residence in on a clear morning. Even refused entry to tables outside which were not interfered by maintenance worker's we booked this hotel for that reason to sit outside and to be denied exit was disappointing..as a suggestion Also guests to the lower part and put tape over no go areas...or do maintenance after 0930 when breakfast ended? it ruined our last morning very sad

The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom small but clean and had good water pressure for the shower. The view from our room was perfect as we could see the ocean and boats. The staff was friendly and helpful which made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was included and was very good. Nice verity of healthy choices along with the traditionally UK breakfast. Didn't understand serving baked beans but who am I to judge! They have an amazing terrace where you can sit and have a beverage, play cards and eat while the ocean. Family and dog friendly. Grate value for what we got and more!

Since we live in a beach community back in the US we understand about the lack of parking but don't have your employees park in the prime spots of the hotel. There is a parking lot very close to the hotel and was very inexpensive to park there. We stayed three nights. Also, beware the stairs are very difficult to climb up so be careful when going upstairs.
