Our room was clean and well maintained but very little space to put clothing away if staying for a week like we were. You really have to get on well with your partner as I'd describe the room as cosy! The bed was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and served by a very polite friendly staff member. It was well cooked although the portions were a little measured at times i.e. the fresh fruit starter! Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Not enough shelf space for clothing if staying a week. The car park was a worry too there were 17 rooms but only about enough room for around 9 or 10 spaces so if you went out in the evening you had to worry about whether you got a space or not. If someone had a 4 x 4 then they took up more than their space.

When arrived found out we were at the top of the house. Difficult with heavy suitcase and lots of stairs. Super breakfast. In future when booking need to ask for first floor bedroom.

Room ,very good with small area to watch TV and make a drink. Bed was excellent (almost as good as home) and we slept very well. Room view of graden and sea beyond was delightful. Breakfast was first class with a choice of hot and cold, indded a cold starter followed by a hot main English if you preferred. Cooked breakfast was not fatty, not greasy and poached eggs were good. Finally, the staff (especially at breakfast) were so customer friendly and smiling, they made you feel most welcomed and we wee departed after 4 nights there, they came to say goodbye personally. Top marks for the Grange !

Lovely big room with a huge comfortable bed, two seats, TV, even a note pad (so useful) Views out over the lovely garden & over the sea & the surrounding hills. Nice breakfast in a large airy dining room. Great location up a quiet lane but in the heart of Shanklin. Lovely large lounge with comfy seating, chess, guitar or books (for wet days) Yes, a lovely place to stay.
A tired shower in room 14 but that's being picky. It is a lovely place to stay. The pricing has crept up to quite expensive for A B&B stay.

There is nothing not to like about this property in our opinion. It was perfect for our visit. The view from room 14 was beautiful. The gardens are well maintained and the location just perfect for being central to the beach, the chine and the restaurants and bars. All the staff are really friendly and welcoming. We were made to feel like it was our home for the week. Hot drinks, fruit and biscuits available to help yourself to, a wonderful sitting room with board games and puzzles and an honesty bar which was a nice touch for a night cap before going to bed. The breakfast was lovely and fresh flowers on the breakfast tables each morning. A very well run family business.
Everything was great.

The location was perfect. The beach was at the end of the garden, more or less. The rooms were bright and fairly modern and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower worked well. We had room 13 and the view from the window was spectacular. The breakfast was lovely, all cooked fresh and nice and hot, just how I like it. There was an honesty bar, which we used a couple of times. There was tea and coffee in the rooms, plus you could also help yourself in the dining area to tea and coffee and biscuits. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
Nothing.

The Grange is perfectly situated between Shanklin High Street and Old Shanklin - close to several restaurants and other eateries. The Grange is more like a hotel than a B&B with lovely gardens, covered swing seats and a large patio with tables and chairs to enjoy the drinks from the honesty bar. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits are available all day. The staff could not have been friendlier or more welcoming - especially the lovely Wendy for whom nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were great; ordering what we wanted from the extensive menu and which set us up for the day ahead,
My wife commented that the cleaning could have been done more assiduously. She surmised it was done by youngsters who cleaned the obvious bits but not everything (like, for example, the cord on the hotel's hairdryer and the Mira shower unit) but this did not detract from our enjoyment of the place.

Fabulous house and garden, fantastic interior! Absolutely stunning accomodation!
Although we booked the room 10 months in advance and informed the hotel about our time of arrival, the person on site had no idea about our booking and it took him a while to fetch somebody who could help us. The room we got then was for wheelchair users. Bathroom had a mini washbasin ca 70cm above the floor and was therefore not useable. For breakfast you got a time slot which wouldn't have worked for us, if we didn't get the first one because we were picked up by our mini bus at 9 o' clock every morning. There was no buffet at breakfast, everything was served. A fantastic idea, if you have a lot of time for a lazy breakfast.

The location is unique and the ambiance of the garden is matched by the interior of the Grange. The Grange Has lovely Friendly staff which adds to the enhancement of what is a lovely place which comes with a great traditional English Breakfast
I suppose the second Bedroom could of been abit bigger for saying that both rooms were the Same price. However this was compensated by great comfortable beds.

The staff and the owner were super friendly and we loved our stay. the drinks were on trust system, we didn't drink any, but it was nice to see the old fashion trust. Tea and coffee were free in the room as well as the lounge, which was very nice and relaxing with tons of games to entertain. We loved the garden and the charming Greek owner
Our breakfast, was a bit on the slow side and our food was brought it without the toasts and had to ask for it from the kitchen, also, asked for two poached eggs and got one!, breakfast was nothing to write home about, and the poor lady I think, she was too busy to remember what we ordered. But she was super polite and nice.
