Use of swimming pools and hot tubs from both linked hotels, pool table and bar. There’s an indoor swimming pool but we didn’t use it. Great breakfast, cooked fresh. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great location, lovely views out to sea, easy access via short walk to Shanklin high street and for accessing the beach, also a free pass for Shanklin chime so you get direct access to the beach while Cliff path is closed. Pleasant walk, not too steep.

If you’re not keen on dogs, better go to the other hotel, but this didn’t affect our stay at all. Didn’t hear anything at night and there’s a separate room at breakfast. Room a little on the small side but we only used it to sleep so it didn’t matter.

The hotel was in a beautiful area very close to the sea and near to the beautiful Chine which added to the excitement of going down to the beach. The facilities were excellent, and extremely comfortable and pretty without being stuffy. The staff super friendly and helpful and the dog friendliness throughout the time we were there very much added ease relaxation and great fun and laughter and a feeling of warmth even though the weather was not!

We liked everything about the property. We would have liked to have swam in the pool which looked lovely but the weather was not good enough. The warm water cleaning station just outside the main entrance for the dogs coming from the messy beach was brilliant too!

This hotel ticked all of our boxes! The rooms were clean and well equipped with comfy beds. A great range of breakfast options and lovely staff who were happy to help. We didn’t take the dog as we’re unsure how “dog friendly” it would be but soon regretted it as really are geared up to welcome 4 legged guests. The pool and little play area were a huge hit with my 8 year old and whilst blessed with good weather, imagine we would have had a tough time getting her out whatever the weather. We are already thinking about making this an annual trip.

I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like

The original parts of the Manor were beautiful. The staff were fantastic and very helpful and accommodating. The gardens were beautifully kept and very relaxing. The breakfast was varied and plentiful and set you up for the day. The evening meal changed nightly and was delicious and very good sized portions. The views from the Manor out to sea were mesmerising. The Hotel was a perfect place to stay and rest after a full days sight seeing of this beautiful island.

We booked a standard room, which wasn’t big enough for our liking. Would definitely book a larger room next time with more space to move around.

The staff were welcoming, friendly, extremely helpful and professional. Also very knowledgeable about the local area. The room was perfect and was very clean with the best assortment of tea/coffee facilities. The breakfast was out of this world. The area was stunning. the view from the hotel was phenomenal. The heated outdoor pool and hot tub were a great bonus. This was our first visit to the Isle of White and it most certainly will not be our last. We already miss this beautiful and restful manor house and will definitely be returning.

This hotel is excellent for pets, they are truly dog friendly and have really thought about what you need for your dog when away from home. Dogs are welcome everywhere in the hotel except the buffet area and in the pool. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the hotel is in an ideal location for both the town and seafront. The room we stayed in was clean and nicely decorated and the breakfast was excellent. The steps down to the beach are closed because of a landslide, but the hotel provided us with passes so we could walk through Shanklin Chine to get to the sea front, which was very considerate of them.

Lovely location caring smiling staff.The interior of rooms tasteful and everything is spotless As we took our dog it was also welcomed as a guest with every need catered for…including a sausage for breakfast! I would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone especially dog owners A great idea!well executed Congratulations to the owners and staff

After such a lovely stay this is a minor carp, the bathroom…there are no hooks to hang clothes nor safety holds to help getting in and out[ I can hear the bathroom designer wincing! ] and for some reason the shower holder rail wouldn’t lock,so to get a shower one had to perform a sort of limbo dance as the head slowly slid down the rail

Location was great being just a short walk to Shanklin village and the chine. Bed was comfy and room a good size. Decent bar and lounge area - pool and hot tub looked good too (but didn’t use). Breakfast was great - cereals, toast, juices etc , plus hot food (full English, eggs Benedict) all very good. Grounds all nice too and plenty of parking.

The weather 🤣 Everything was fine really. If I had to pick on anything , I’d say the shower could have been better and maybe the tile grouting could use a clean. Really nothing to complain about.

The service was exceptional and all the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The facilities were excellent, which included two heated outdoor pools and hot tubs. The breakfast was very good quality and plentiful. The cleanliness everywhere, including in our rooms, was meticulous. We were delighted to find a bottle of champagne chilling in our room wishing us a 'happy anniversary'. It came as a complete surprise and made our weekend treat away feel even more special.

As someone with mobility problems, ascending and descending the stairs from Reception to our bedroom was difficult. An additional hand rail would have made it easier and safer. The gravel pathway between the two sister hotels was difficult to walk on. The wooden hand railings outdoors could be improved and strengthened to make it easier to go up and down the steps.

BREAKFAST WAS A VERY GOOD SELECTION ,THE OUTDOOR POOL WAS HEATED SO LOVELY TO HAVE A QUICK SWIM , VEIWS FROM BREKFAST ROOM SUPERB ,MEAL AND VEIW FROM SISTER HOTEL RESTURANT AND STAFF VERY FRIENDLY THE FREE PASS DOWN THE CHINE WAS GREATLY APPRIECIATED ,GOOD LOCATION

PILLOWS IN ROOM WERE ALL TOO HARD TO HAVE ACHOICE OF FIRM OR SOFT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE AS THIER WERE FOUR OF THEM ,WISH I HAD PAID A LITTLE MORE FOR A VEIW THE CARPARK AND THE RUNDOWN BACK OF A BUILDING WAS NOT INSPIRING ,STILL IVE LEARNT MY LEASON, PITY THE PATH TO THE BEACH IS STILL NOT SORTED BIT OF A HIKE AROUND TO THE BEACH, PERSONAL TAST WASNT KEEN ON THE CHOICE OF CURTAINS THE EYELETS THOUGH LINED LET A LOT OF LIGHT IN THE PATTERN CLASHED WITH THE CUSHIONS ,BUT THATS JUST THE INTERIOR DESIGNER IN ME , NOT SURE THAT I CLOCKED THAT IT WAS AVERY DOG FRIENDLY HOTEL WHEN I BOOKED NO PROBLEM FOR US BUT MY SISTER WOULD HAVE HAD A COMPLETE MELT DOWN SHES TERRIFIED OF DOGS
