Second time we have stayed in the same room and we couldn't fault it. Lovely decor, comfortable bed, tea & coffee-making facilities (really lovely cups and saucers!) and everything spotlessly clean. Staff are lovely and so very helpful. We had a minor issue which Dicky sorted out in 2 minutes - fabulous. Breakfasts in the Bar N'ista are superb and we were lucky to have had a lovely sunny day and so enjoyed sitting outside watching the world go by. We'll be back.

I needed to bring my own pillows as I like to sleep higher and prefer soft full pillows - but hubby found the ones provided just fine. Personal preference really.

The rooms are ideally located to use the facilities in Birkdale Village, free car parking can be arranged and conveniently located for the train station. The staff are always really friendly and really want to help, nothing is too much trouble. There was a reed defuser in the room that makes the rooms smell beautiful, I bought 3 of these defusers from Sally B’s shop which is next door to the rooms - they had a fantastic range of products and the staff were great too.

The host is wonderful- welcoming and helpful. I stayed in the ‘pod’ room. Very comfortable for one person but would be tight for two. Really comfortable and clean room. Very fast WiFi. Powerful shower. Comfortable bed and fluffy towels.

Had to wait 2-3 minutes for the hot water to come on every time but there was plenty of it. The ‘key slot/electric switch’ gizmo seemed faulty. Electricity regularly cut out but for less than a second

Perfect location, loved the cafe vibe of birkdale and minutes away from southport which is walkable

Nothing not to like, room was cosy, the ensuite was small but everything functional. As the rooms are above a cafe bar be prepared for music if you are early to bed. Definitely my first option for future stays.

When we first arrived I was a little concerned about the noise as the bar downstairs was very busy. It was the hottest weekend of the year so far and the bar was very busy. My thoughts were quickly squashed even with the window open we easily fell asleep with no problems at all. Upon arrival we were shown to the room by a very helpful and polite member of staff. The presentation was amazing, quality decor and very comfortable. We would definitely visit again and would highly recommend if your due to visit Southport. Overall we had a lovely stay and highly recommend.

Stayed over night for a festival, travelled by train the hotel is 1 minute walk from there 5 minutes taxi in to Southport, very clean ,lovely staff , great boutique room comfortable, also has a bar/bistro down stairs all round excellent and would definitely stay again 😊

The location is great for very frequent trains in and out of Southport and to the many points of interest on the Sefton coastline. The room was very small but well designed. Very convenient for small grocery shops, cafes, a pub and a chippy.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, told us about discount for breakfast and also a discount at the restaurant over the road which is owned by the same people. Right in the middle of Birkdale Village handy for shops, bars and restaunts.

We were contacted before by phone to let us know about parking and check in. Very good service. Rooms were lovely. Perfect location for a wedding we attended.

Parking could be better, there is free parking on the street, but only a few spots. Nearby carpark for small precinct max 1 hour stay. Other car parks are on camera to stop you parking there. There is parking on other streets further out though. Didn’t bother us much, we parked up in the precinct, got ready within the hour and drove to the venue and left the car there.

The property was in a fantastic central location, easy check in and room was gorgeous and immaculately clean . We had lunch downstairs in Nista bar and along with the staff and welcome was excellent
