The hotel has just been refurbished. It's super clean, modern and stylish. Lots of nice touches such as toiletries, hairdryer and hangers. The duvet and pillows were crisp and comfortable.There is a large car park. The owners were lovely, informative without being over the top. The hotel is a couple of streets back from the main road just a short walk so great location for restaurants, shops, bars etc.

It was an unusually hot day, and our room was stifling. The window opened wide to let breeze in, but we didn't want to leave it open whilst we were out. We always travel with a fan and we wouldn't have slept without it. We didn't ask about the window or if there were fans available so it's not really a negative.

The new Talbot was very clean and tidy, the owners personally welcomed me and attended to my every need. The rooms are a great size with the most comfortable beds. Also the kitchen which is brand new with everything you could possibly need is a great idea as you can sit and cook your own meals to eat in the dining room which again is brand new and perfect to socialise. Nothing really, there is still work in progress on site but not that we noticed. The only thing is we are disappointed we were not staying longer. Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing you soon.

Location was great and having a carpark was brilliant. The hotel has only just reopened and everything is new and fresh. Staff were lovely and helpful. The kitchen and dining facilities for guests are a great idea, particularly if you’re traveling in a group and need a break from the expense of eating out. The kitchen is fully equipped and plenty of ovens and fridges.

The hotel is self catering.There is a fully equipped kitchen,and dining room,which guests are free to use.You can use it to cook meals,prepare breakfast,or heat up takeaways.

There was nothing we didn’t like.But I do have a suggestion.Some drawers in the room would of been useful,and maybe more clothes hangers.

Location and parking was best for us. Although we did not make use of them I thought that the kitchen, dinning room set up was an excellent idea particularly for families.

More drawer space, more lighting and some hanging hooks in the bathroom would be good.

Newly refurbished by people who obviously know what is required to make a comfortable stay for guests. The lobby was stylish, the kitchen had everything needed and the rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated.

The only issue I had was that the iron and ironing board was easy to locate!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable bed. Nice decor. Spotlessly clean. Nice toiletries. Very accessible to the town. Free parking too.

No table lamp in the room (although I think that finishing touches are still being assessed). Only a small window was able to open.

It's lovely, comfortable and very clean. The staff were excellent going that extra mile to accommodate us as we asked for early check in can't fault them 1 bit amazing stay

Nowhere to put anything in the room. Dressing table or chest of drawers needed. Tiny bedside tables needed a lamp each. Not enough plugs.
