Lovely secluded setting, well maintained property

Cleaning was particularly great, one day of our visit our room didn’t get serviced at all. We had to visit reception for replenishment. Suspect this is down to the lack of time given to cleaning operatives to service each room

Car parking spaces are plentiful, the grounds are immaculate and the reception staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The room was a very good size, with a bath (which we wanted) and felt very clean. The evening meal was very good (steak prepared just as we wanted) and the vegetables were presented just right (not overboiled). Breakfast was also very good quality with a mainly good choice (see below).

Would prefer a few more electrical plugs, perhaps one each side of the bed for convenience. The only downside of breakfast was that the coffee from the machine was not so good and we would have liked porridge to be available.

Dinner was average, customer service in the restaurant patchy with two menus and the food was underwhelming Have got used to bigger & more comfortable beds in other (cheaper) hotels eg Premier Inn beds so found the double a bit ‘mean’ given the price Also found the wood panelling everywhere ( including the bathroom) dated Receptionist struggled to find out booking as booking.com had reversed our surname & first name and was not particularly welcoming but we had just driven 10 hours from Scotland so were a little jaded. By contrast when we checked out we were offered coffee for the journey which was a nice touch.

everyone we came across in the hotel they were welcoming and Steve from the golf training was very accommodating, Everyone in my group was impressed by the way he was willing to every question we had regarding golf , Hotel standards were spot on and of high standards housekeeping team they are doing excellent work.a.we all enjoyed the breakfast which had a variety of food to choose from and staff were friendly. we will be returning soon. lovely grounds and a swimming pool. we could have done with spa treatment that is why we booked this place but we were told they close on weekends but golf paid it all.

The offer of a cup of tea on arrival and departure. Mars Monday - nice touch . The reception staff and the waitress at breakfast were very friendly.

£30 charge for dog but no bed for him. The room service app did not work. We were left waiting for the room service for over an hour. The Lasagne was not Hilton standard and tasted no better than a frozen ready meal. We were not happy that we had to eat breakfast in the bar area. The ferrying of food was ridiculous, especially as I have mobility issues. This was not clear on your website. Also, the room service waiter refused to enter our room as we had a dog. Again, this is not clear on the information that I read and signed at reception.

Puckrup Hall is set in a beautiful location, obviously golf course means lovely greenery and beautiful trees. We were able to park closely due to disabled parking which was great. The Hotel is very smart and staff are friendly. The room was pleasant, not too small and had a lovely big bathroom. Breakfast was very calm and peaceful, it was self-service so there were no queues, you could help yourself. There was a big selection of breakfast items, that covered all options. I loved using the waffle maker in particular. We loved going in the swimming pool, there was a problem with the change rooms but we were given robes so that we could change in our room instead. The beds were very comfy in the room. There were hydration stations in the hotel which were very useful. It was very relaxing staying here.

There needed to be a couple more disabled spaces for parking as there was a big skip in one of the spaces, perhaps it would have been better placed on normal parking spaces. Unfortunately the restaurant changes its evening menu every week so we could only look at a menu at reception quickly which didnt make things very accessible. People like to plan meals before they go on holiday or get to their hotel, so having no core menu or online menu isnt very helpful. I felt like the room we were given was a long, long, long way from reception, perhaps something should be said on their information page for people who have mobility issues so they can let them have a room closer to Reception.

Location good for motorway. Excellent parking facility. Lobby smelt of cigarette smoke... strange as there was no evidence of such. Lift, escalator v good, quick. And a room was made available near to the lift. We had a pet dog with us and it would be nice to have an area nearer the breakfast service area to sit. I noticed quite a few groups travelling with dogs and it can be awkward. Staff did offer to help carry the tray. It would be helpful in the room to have a tray on which to sit a water bowl.

We were a family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 kids ) Beautiful property, but our room had a sad view, and every morning, garbage trucks would wake us up. close to the centre. Stayed there for 6 days on our trip to Cotswolds. Was driving around small towns, which were not far. Free parking onsite

5 star properties should have basic necessities in the room Fridge - mini bar ( which we requested, and they put it later on )

Impressed. Very well maintained building, rooms and leisure facilities. Fantastic breakfast in a very beautiful location. Bar area very convivial in the evening with a very good bar menu. Staff excellent. Location very convenient, just off M50 junction 1 but with no road noise. Very easy to get to Tewkesbury and Malvern. The pool is a good size to actually swim in and there is a big gym plus sauna, steam room and jacuzzi hot tub. We will be back.

Bed was comfortable but bizarrely noisy and creaked loudly when either of us rolled over.

I was impressed by the employees of this hotel. Everyone was really caring and polite, and definitely managed to take care of their guests. The room was spacious, clean ( a bit more dust here and there ) & the bed was really comfortable. The food was above average ( had dinner and breakfast). Unfortunately didn’t get to try the swimming pool, but maybe next time will do so. The hotel itself is a bit quirky. Made me feel I traveled back in time, but it is well maintained and clean. It’s a really fun experience to walk down the long corridors. Got a 100% The Shining vibe.
