Picturesque, quiet with such lovely features and furniture of the years past ! As you go from one room to another there are lovely antique items and furniture it was a bit like antique road show !😀The staff were amazing from the minute I arrived and checked in by ( Aunt SALLY) lol 😂 I know she will chuckle to the first waiter Antony who made us laugh with hes sence of humour ! Nothing seemed to much for them and was always on hand to help ! The head waiter filled my flask in the morning and the cook 🧑🍳 came in 30 minutes early to make sure we had a brilliant breakfast 🍳 before going to work Malvern show !! Dinners were lovely and it made my stay feel like being on holiday!! I just can’t fault them at all !! The owner should be so proud of the staff of this hotel 5 🌟 stars from me thanks joe
I love everything

The staff were exceptional, polite and professional throughout the hotel. The food was some of the best I have had and we were able to dine in a leisurely manner without being rushed. The location was extremely convenient following our visit to Tewkesbury and was also very relaxing. The room had everything we needed, plus a few very nice extras (eg. wonderful to be offered fresh fruit and also to be provided with fresh milk rather than UHT).
The swimming pool is in need of a tidy up and was surprisingly bracing, but was functional and pleasant after a hot day's activity.

excellent dinners but limited choice. Great breakfasts nicely served. Attractive grounds around the hotel. It was good to have a comfortable bed and a small fridge in our large bedroom.
The maintenance of the building leaves quite a lot to be desired. There was nothing with which to wedge the sash windows open. apart from the good bed, generally poor quality furniture and an overall feeling of fading elegance.

Breakfast was excellent and highly recommend dining in as we did for three nights. Food was fabulous. We loved the traditional and bygone vibe that isnt there in the chain Hotels and newer builds and its situation is perfect for a peaceful yet accessible location.
Only one negative was the shower which was quite small and restrictive with very poor water pressure.

Good parking space. Lovely clean room, very comfortable bed, very nice welcome and assistance. Fresh fruit in room as well as lovely breakfast. Lovely atmosphere, very home from home and some beautiful decor with nice country feel. Excellent chef and superb restaurant for a lovely meal. Would definitely return and also recommend a stay here. Everyone made the stay an absolute pleasure.

We loved the hotel and thought the position was excellent. We were given a downstairs room as we had dogs which was very helpful. We enjoyed our dinner but were disappointed that the lamb and the muntjack were off the menu very quickly, also you advertised lobster in your online menu list and it wasn't on your menu! Your breakfast was delicious and very well presented.

it is set in beautiful countryside buy easy to reach. The grounds are lovely and well kept and upon arrival the staff are warm and welcoming. The rooms are large and welcoming with old fashioned charm but beautifully clean and well appointed. Tea and coffee making facilities, as well as home made biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge, are additional touches. The sitting room had a roaring fire and no shortage of wood and we were welcome to have afternoon tea, as well as pre and post dinner drinks in front of it. Our meal was exceptional. Fresh ingredients, beautifully cooked, well presented, served efficiently and tasted delicious. Breakfast was table serviced with generous portions and a wide variety of choice. overall I cannot recommend this property enough. what a gem.
It would be beneficial to have a fitness room

Very well situated near major routes home . More expensive than hotels around, however position attention to detail, the room although not modern had quintessential old world charm and facilities that should be enjoyed at a country house. The restaurant food was of high quality with service given at the right pace and enough attention not to be over bearing and pretentious..
It’s old world charm and English values

Really is a beautiful old house full of charm, character and friendly people. It reminded me of going to stay with your new partner's family in the country and discovering that they are really nice people who make you feel totally at home. After a few hours it is like a home from home. Others have commented on the inferior furniture and worn look. That's fine with me. I really don't mind a creaky hinge. It all feels like a home, so it's ok. Food was excellent and, given the high quality, not overly expensive. Grounds and gardens are nice. Others also comment on the poor state of repairs. Ok, some of the windows and doors will need replacing soon and, going by our beautifully spacious bedroom, may need some decorating in the not too distant future but this did not annoy me. Far from it, I just wished I had brought my tools, the old house deserves a touch up. I loved everything about it.
It is a shame about the road but it's not as bad as some make out. I had a front facing room and it did not keep me awake or annoy me.

The bedroom was large and the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Breakfast was ample and very good quality. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Despite its apparently remote location, there was a lot of road noise. Luckily this lessened later at night. Our room also backed on to a boiler or air conditioning unit, which led to a continuous humming noise all day and night. I would love to have gone swimming, but sadly the pool, although covered, was unheated. I tested the water but felt it was rather too chilly.
