Everything works and is clean. Good amount of space in the fridges for your food/drinks. There is an oven, microwave, toaster with a good amount of cookware etc.

The following really has no bearing at all on the property. I encountered about seven other people who shared the flat which I was in whilst stopping over, all bar two of them cleaned up after themselves to a brilliant standard, washed everything, wiped down work surfaces and put pans, pots etc. away. However two people who arrived together the day before I left, seemingly thought that it was ok to spend endless time in the kitchen area, leave dirty work surfaces and dirty pots and pans filling both sinks. It is not.

The ambience, security involved to access the building and the staff displayed satisfactory customer service.

Currently, I tend to travel by public transport (buses) more frequently. It took us 15 minutes to walk to the local bus station. When we got there, a sign showing that the customer service office was closed. The bus station personnel were not customer friendly when we enquired about the local bus that was due for our destination. Disappointed. It cost too much to be travelling with taxi in this cost of living period. You could have had a map, whether paper or digital so that visitors could have a lookaround. Similar to other venues like this.

The room was large. Bed was comfortable. The kitchen facilities were clean and tidy. Reception were very helpful ie the room was hot on arrival. They sorted the thermostat and provided me with a fan. Liked the fact a supermarket was a 2 minute walk across the road. The bus station and city centre shops were 10 minutes walking distance.

There were two issues during my stay. Firsly the light above the bed was extremely bright. Would have preferred a light that could be dimmed. The second issue was the shower. On the final day of my stay the mixer tap only provide cold water.

The accomodation is offered is that which serves as student accomdation during term times. The room I was given was very large and I can only assume that it was a double room. I would describe it as very functional. It had plenty of storage space and an abundance of sockets (a blessing in this day and ageThere was no television in the room but one was available in the kitchen which guests are able to make use of. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is about 10/15 minutes from Newport railway station with a flat and direct route there.

Nothing to complain about at all.

Because of the great heat the fans were hardly enough, we had to leave the room dors open to get some more fresh air. unfortunately it was not possible to open the windows a bit more during the night to cool down a bit. Also the door to the kitchen (it was as hot as in a sauna in there) had to be closed at any time - or the fire alarm would go off. It was not possible to use the kitchen table, we had to eat in the rooms because of the unbearable heat.

Could not get any cold water in the sink in the shower room it was fixed the next time the maintenance team came in the next day

I wish I had brought my own small kettle to save me walking to the kitchen everytime I wanted a cup of Tea Pity the Student Village wasn't nearer the town centre

Perfect for working away and saving money. WiFi. Full kitchen and fridge/freezer for making your own meals.

Sometimes it can be a bit noisy from the road in the morning, but that's an observation, not a complaint. The building is where it is, you'd struggle to move it.

No toilet paper or toiletries in room on arrival. Very clean rooms, kitchen and dining area. Just the right amount of rooms to share the kitchen and dining area. Staff very helpful and quickly sorted out any issues we had. Walking distance to the town centre.

Parking very difficult to find. Traffic noise from road can be heard all night even if window is closed.

Great accommodation very clean. Easy access

More towels. If you know a couple are staying for 3 nights one hand and one bath is not enough. Rooms very hot, can't open window more than an inch. Provide fans or put in AC. Also toilet extractor non existent which left shower steam and other smells linger. Need to offer better parking or at least good advice on where to park
