Aptel Studio Hotel

Overall, the rooms and facility were very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel is slightly depressing. From the window of our room, we had a view of the Home Depot and a shuttered, dilapidated pizza restaurant. There is also a derelict mall next door. There are only a couple of fast food restaurants within walking distance. Any other shopping will require a drive for some distance. For being late in the season, the price for the room seemed high. If you like planes, then you will have a good view of them landing or taking off, depending on which way the wind is blowing.

Everything, it’s very clean and quiet. We were up from Soldotna for some medical procedures. It was perfect, the lil kitchen was awesome to have. My mom was having dental procedures done and had to eat special food that were able to prepare right there in the room. All the staff is wonderful! I will definitely be returning again and again

It is a bit out of the way but for our purposes it was perfect, I prefer to stay in a slower more quiet and safer location then right downtown. I didn’t mind the few min it takes to get to downtown locations

The property and the room were clean and comfortable. It was definitely a plus to have a stovetop, but found it odd that no utensils were provided in the room. We had to go to the front desk and request specific utensils, which they then provided. The beds were comfortable enough for good night's sleep. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

Utensils should have been provided in the room itself. Blankets on the beds could have been better. Toilet jammed on first night, but was promptly fixed.

We had a great room, quiet, complete with coffee maker, full size fridge, microwave and two spot electric cook plate. Not standard in the room but front desk can provide plates, silverware and pots. We stayed for a few days so it was wonderful to be able to cook our breakfast, make lunch and cook dinner. The room is spacious and has a table for two. Very comfortable, would go back for sure.

I can't think of anything other than you ideally need a car to get here although the bus stop was nearby.

Room was nice, liked the full mini kitchen ( microwave, stove top, fridge), it's a $14 uber to simon & seaforts 😉 The price was reasonable for this time of year, paid $185/night

The entrance wasn't that welcoming, but I get it, we arrived n there was a half naked man howling across the street from hotel. The hotel is just protecting us from the wear wolf We checked in, recieved our keys, went to our room n opened door and I screamed and the couple inside our room screamed! Turns out the front desk gave us someones room. There was crying woman in the hallway at 1am, but I've been there sooo

The staff was exceptionally helpful and considerate concerning my operation. So appreciated the laundry facility and that it was more of an apartment rather than just a hotel room. The cleanliness was commendable. It was quiet. We requested a first floor because of the surgery and there was no problem.

Wish that there could be a few dishes, pots and pans, and utensils made available, but I understand why they are not. We provided our own.

I wasn't sure what to expect for accommodations in Anchorage and was a little nervous based on reviews and the high cost, but Aptel Studio Hotel blew my expectations away! If you're hesitant like me and nervous about where to choose, this is the place to stay. The room is incredibly spacious; only a 12 min drive from the airport; accessible to anywhere ANC; the staff is exceptionally helpful and professional; the beds comfy; and the room impeccably clean. Has a full size fridge, a range, sink, microwave but no cooking/eating utensils. It's so roomy and very, very comfortable. Liked it so much we stayed again at the end of our time in Alaska!

The price is steep, but it's comparable to ANC hotel accommodations and of the other locations we stayed at, this is such a great deal. Cooking/eating utensils would be nice, but I'm sure that comes along with an added hassle and cleaning requirement. Nothing significant to say that we didn't like about our many nights here.

The friendly staff .. they'll do anything to make your stay feel like home . Mr SHALA was very kind and friendly.. the ladies Cassandra oops and the other sweet lady were very welcoming... Super relaxed but on top of their jobs. Just wanting to make sure that all guests are 100% satisfied... And i say they all went above n beyond .... And on the hottest days mind you! Thanks guys i hope to stay here frequently A++👌

Its too pretty for south mountain view... But mountain view is lucky to have a nice modern hotel like the Aptel studio hotel... This hotel makes MV look good!!

We called ahead of time to let them know we would arrive after midnight. They checked us in over the phone and the very nice security guard had our key and room ready for us. The room was very clean. They even were kind enough to allow a later check out. All the staff were friendly.

The location is ok close to stores and restaurants but a bit shaddy people walking around.

Security. I felt safe. I arrived late and the woman security was so nice.

I have not received my email receipt I was promised. No paper receipt was given to me when I checked out, either. The washing machine left powder soap on my clothing. A manager put coins in to rewash it, but some still had soap streaks.
