We stayed here at the beginning of our trip to Alaska and at the end of the trip. We picked Hyatt House because of its location and proximity to the airport. We were extremely happy with our stay at Hyatt. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and spacious, and it is a bonus to have breakfast in the morning.Also the day of our departure at 5 o'clock AM they arranged for a shuttle to take us to the airport and even gave us a little breakfast to go bag ,which I thought was extremely thoughtful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to everyone planning a trip to Anchorage.

There is not a thing that we did not like.

The breakfast was outstanding and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The bar was small but the bartender makes excellent margaritas. We didnt order a meal from the hotel, but everyone we talked to said it was very good. Its centrally located and we could get everywhere with a $13 uber. The rooms are great and the shower is outstanding. Was very clean. We didnt seem to have the homeless in our area, like other areas of ANC.

My only negative is no in-room safe. That would have been nice.

This hotel was clean, spacious and had excellent facilities including guest laundry, pool, gym and bar. The staff were helpful and the breakfast team kept the food and coffee coming.

While I can not fault the hotel on facilities, staff and comfort it is in mid-town which doesn't have alot around it and requires some form of transport to get to downtown. Fine if you have a car or happy to pay for an uber each time you want to go somewhere.

The breakfast was superb.

The bathtub in room 709 is rounded, not flat, and extremely slippery. My husband fell, banged up his knee pretty badly, and I don't know how, but split open his foot. If my daughter was not a nurse, we would've spent the night in the emergency room. As it was, the staff was very helpful and provided butterfly bandages and other supplies. I took a shower after my husband, and yes, it is slippery. This might be especially an issue for people who have just gotten off an 8 hour train trip or a cruise and don't quite have their land legs back. The room and the staff were wonderful.

Glad i was able to get a room next to the pool cause that is one reason we travel to Anchorage I take them to town to go swimming and shopping the oldest has a disability so having the room next to the pool was a plus

Price on the snacks at the front desk Outside Windows in the pool area was dirty but everything else was fine Glad to stay at the hotel No real complaints here would be nice if every room had 2 TVs

Breakfast was better than expected with more choices. Room was very comfortable.

The coffee in the morning tastes like it was filter through a dirty gym sock. Awful coffee! Spend a little extra and buy quality…buying local would be even better. As new as the property is, I’m surprised there are no USB connections. Updated lamps could solve that.

Hyatt House in Anchorage is easy to access from the airport. The proximity to main roads makes it a great base while in Anchorage. The staff was wonderful and upgraded us at no cost. The room was very clean, roomy, and comfortable. They also have breakfast options in the morning.

We only stayed here the night before our flight left Anchorage, but we were amazed when we entered the room to find an actual suite with a kitchen (with large island) and living room in addition to a bedroom. It was very modern and clean with blackout shades and curtains that truly worked! The complimentary breakfast the next morning was awesome with a huge variety of options.

The mattress was much to soft for us, but that’s individual taste.

We arrived to the airport fairly late around 1:30am and requested a shuttle bus to the hotel. There are 2 stuff per shuttle bus and they are nice and helpful. The check in is super fast and the room is very clean and spacious. It also contains a kitchen, a living room. Breakfast is nice and generous. They provide take-away box and also there are snacks you can grab.

There is no shuttle bus to downtown so we end up using uber/lyft. A 4-mile ride costs around 30 dollars... we spent around 60 dollors for our trip to downtown.

Breakfast is available in the lobby restaurant until 9:30 most days.

It would have been nice to have fresh eggs (there were fairly dry scrambled eggs in a warming dish) and some gluten free options (or having the food marked with allergens, at least).
