La Quinta by Wyndham Tucson - Reid Park

Great breakfast! Pool was lovely, nice room, quiet, bathroom was nice, clean overall. Location was convenient. Our tub drain was clogged and the maintenance fellow came very promptly to clear it.

Front desk staff not overly welcoming and didn't give us enough info upon arrival as to where to find our room (which was a bit of a trek) and facilities. The carpet on our floor was looking a little damaged, and there was a boarded-over broken window in the corridor (we were there 5 days). They have 3-day room cleaning (upon request) policy, but did not do so, and did not do the following day, either, in spite of being reminded, so at that point very late in the day when we pointedly brought it to their attention they finally sent a housekeeper to take care of it. We received an apology from the general manager.

Employees friendly and serviceable. Cold lemonade-water and fruit available in lobby. Breakfast was good and plenty (maybe could have had bacon/sausage). Were able to accomodate us with a pool view, even though it was not first floor. Was able to extend check-out by one hour. Thank You!!

Busy or clean room signs for door knobs could be made available. Elevator doors took long to close or they did not close for a while until close/open buttons were pressed. Breakfast: Took a Cinnamon Crumble from Buena Vista Foods for my child at the hotel room, could Not eat it, as it had much Mold.

furniture in the room (sofa and chair) quite old; I covered them with sheets and ask for possible replacement. The chair was replaced and thank you to front desk staff for follow up. Noisy air conditioner. Room could need repainting and better lighting. Plenty of very small, uncomfortable pillows (smaller than standard size) for a king size bed. It appeared to be a busy time during my staff with many guests for certain sport events in town. there were guests on their hover boards roaming inside hotel; please discourage that.

I got the room for my son who has acupuncture done and back eat sore. This by far was the best thing I could've done for not just him but for all of us. This is our favorite spots for our staycation too. Location is perfect with grocery stores convenience stores and plenty of options of places to eat. Plus Reid/Randolph Park close by They provide you with a full breakfast which is always delicious from scrambled eggs sausage waffles French toast fresh fruit oatmeal everything your little heart desires. They're always friendly and go the extra mile.

The room was very nice. It was clean and the hotel was conveniently located and easy to get to.

The girl at reception was quite rude. to my husband when he went to check in. We did not have a reservation but had checked on line for the price. She told him that the price for 1 night was 146.00. He told her that he found it online for 84.00. She rudely said well maybe it is only that online but our price is 146.00. So we sat in the parking lot and booked it online. She was very abrupt when we went back in with our online reservation.

The breakfast was incredible. They had a good selection of New Mexican items and traditional breakfast items including chorizo patties and churros donuts (they were incredible) The compound was pretty big with a huge pool and gym in the middle. The small convenient store was fairly priced We paid under $80 and this was unreal value for our money

We were visiting mainly the saguaro national parks and the plane graveyard so the location is a bit farther from those. But our experience alone is well worth the detour.

Very comfy room and the bed was a dream to sleep on (no pun intended). The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a large buffet (of mostly carby things), and although a line developed for the bacon and eggs, the chef made more as quickly as possible. Lots of choices to be had. Parking was great, the ac worked and was quiet, and they had some lovely iced tea and citrus water set up in the lobby 24/7. I didn't get to the fitness centre, but it looked good. All in all, I was very happy and would return whenever I'm in Tucson.

Would love a few more protein-based choices for breakfast, but that's a small request and everything else was nearly perfect.

I loved the fact that every time I left my room there was always someone cleaning whether it was wiping down the elevator or mopping the lobby. I felt safe when staying there

The only negative thing I can give you feedback on is the first night I went down to the front desk to ask for some extra pillows. The woman working the desk, I'm sorry I didn't get her name, simply stated that they didn't have any. But I can check anyway. Have a nice evening. ... If she was going to check then she needed to know which room I was in. It just didn't sit right with me even if there were no pillows there's a better way to convey that message. Oh, and I do love the fact that your property is pet friendly, however when places are pet friendly you're going to need someone out there keeping up on the property because people aren't picking up their feces. It takes away from the appearance aside from the fact that it's a health hazard.

The woman at the front desk at check in was phenomenal! She was incredibly personable and efficient! Any time I passed through the lobby she was upbeat and kind. Her alone made me want to stay here again! In addition the morning breakfast was way beyond our expectations! Pretty much anything you could want they had available.

The bathroom ceiling was kind of bubbly and had dark spots...didn't seem like there was a bathroom fan to draw away the moisture from showers.

My only suggestion would be more care to breakfast. I have had breakfast there several times and there is no more coffee well before closing time. Just stayed there and went up to get coffee and the person in front of me said they were out of coffee for a half an hour. The time before coffee and several other items were all gone well before closing. I never did see an attendant checking on what needed refilling. Other than that, a very well ran establishment.
