The towels were LARGE, not the puny ones a lot of places give you, and they were really really soft. Same thing with the sheets. I had just had surgery, and this was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in ~ wonderful pillowtop mattress! It was a real joy, after the day I'd had in the hospital!

The coffee machine had no instructions, and instead of the pull-out basket, there was this flimsy plastic thing in a sealed plastic bag. At first I had no idea what it was. Once I figured that out, it really didn't fit into the slot very well, and I'm pretty mechanically minded. But I REALLY wanted that first cup of coffee, so I persevered. Worth it, yeah, but geez, guys, at least leave instructions!!!

Location is perfect for all the reasons im come to Tucson . Prices are great rooms are always clean. Yes it is an old hotel but in the 10 years I've been staying there they do try their best to keep up with the age of it. Never seen a bed bug 1000 points for that since I'm extremely allergic .Never meant a staff member i didn't like . Even the new girl that had just started she was so amazing. This has always been my go to hotel close to my family And close to the college while my son was there. Graduation was last weekend first time I got my husband to a big city. He loved the hotel so much we both didn't want to leave . Thank you to the front desk girls and house keeping we appreciate you so much

Asked for a handicap room & I got one. Staff was friendly & very helpful. Room & especially the bathroom was very clean. Continental breakfast was well stocked, the lady how was in charge keep cleaning & restocking items.

Shower head needs to be replaced! Stream wasn't well directed. Suggest changing it to handheld, so you can rinse off better. I reported a leak around the base of the toilet, twice (different days -> Fri. & Sat.). Thought it was fixed on Fri., but the leak reappeared on Sat. morning & they fixed it, again.

Overall the hotel was clean and well maintained. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. This is my second time staying here. Would stay here again the next time I'm in Tucson. Free hot breakfast in the morning as well. Also walking distance to CVS should you need something from them.

The only thing I didn't like was the TV was not set on the right time zone so I didn't get to watch any programs. Call the front desk, but didn't really help with my problem.

This hotel is located close to restaurants, and shopping, and is close to a bus stop, which gives guests a chance to get out and see Tucson.

The laundry is coin operated, but the staff has no way to provide change so a guest can use it. Upgrading the laundry to a card system would allow staff to issue a card charged to the guest's room, and the cost of the laundry could be added to the guest's bill. No coins, convenient for guests and staff. This is advertised as a smoke-free hotel, but many guests sit smoking outside their room and walk around smoking. It's nice to know they're not fouling up the rooms, but this isn't really a smoke-free hotel. If a guest has a strong need for a non-smoking environment, this hotel would not be suitable.

I liked the full length mirror, the nice, folding wood suitcase rack, the bright and dim changes in the bedside lights, and the temperature control. I always wipe down frequently touched or used areas of a hotel room first thing to sanitize, and the wipes showed almost no residue.

The button on the bedside lights was hard to turn; and the front door handle required alot of effort to open the door. I would've liked more TV channels. Including the Catholic channel EWTN. I was there on Sunday and wanted to watch a service. A soap dish would be nice. The shower head was very high and the spray could've been stronger. Not sure the TV remote was sanitized..

The king room was nice. It had a balcony that overlooked the pool. The bed was a bit too soft, but comfortable.

The balcony was at a noticeable slant. There were gaps/openings in the front door (no weatherstripping), so cold air was constantly coming into the room from outside. No alarm clock on nightstand. TV was way too small. Pets were allowed in the hotel, which I wasn’t fond of. The breakfast was below average (cold hard boiled eggs, yogurt, instant oatmeal, etc.).

The bed was comfortable and the room was big. The location was nice for someone without a car. There was a bus stop very close and stores and restaurants nearby. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The pool could have been a little nicer. A bigger hot tub would have been nice. There wasn't any recycling that I could find. The breakfast room was small and got really crowded.

Booking .com rates are never the actual rate at the hotel usually they say it is because the app books rooms for the least expensive of any locations(I.e. la Quinta airport had room price I reserved but I reserved at the east Tucson location) so it’s had cost me 30-40 extra a night to renew the room. So that’s why I only used app one time then went directly through property. I have a service animal for my wheelchair bound wife and the bottom floor was better then risking another surprise due yo lack of communication between app and hotel which I paid extra for would be nice to see the room and Answer the property pay that same price from mybooking.com

Check-in was fine. The room was ready and clean. The beds were comfortable. And, the staff was friendly. The breakfast was adequate. The location was perfect for my needs. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

The breakfast could have offered some more variety, such as bacon or sausage, bananas, biscuits and sausage gravy. Scrambled eggs would have been nice. and, peanut butter would have been heavenly. Otherwise, everything was good.
