Creekside Inn Downtown

Pristine! Beds were super comfortable, pillows exceptional. Very quiet, convenient to walking downtown. Loved how Cambria is not corporate America.

The beds are a little high off the floor for people who are short. A little step-stool would be a big help for getting in and out of bed for shorter, older people. They probably would’ve provided if we asked, but we didn’t so I can’t fault them for that. Found that the shower sprayed the toilet paper during a shower and got it soaking wet. I would suggest moving the toilet paper holder to another location.

Nice quiet location. Bed and pillows super comfy. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Pretty view of the creek from our balcony. We saw a deer with 2 does and could hear the frogs croaking at night. Everything fresh and clean and newly updated. Fast internet. Definitely will be back again!

Really comfortable, clean, safe, and relaxing stay. The staff were all amazing (Thank you, Samantha!!) Highly recommended! Walking distance to everything. Moonstone Beach is a 5 minute drive away.

Samantha greeted us and gave a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the creek. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We loved our stay and will be back. Thank you ♥️

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Cute little hotel, exactly as I’d pictured it from the reviews and pictures on here. Check in was good with a friendly staff member who even gave us cookies! We had a room on the ground floor which was great, it was nicely decorated and very clean. The bed was big and very comfortable and there was a microwave also. The bathroom was big also and very modern. The hotel was within walking distance of the town where you could find shops and restaurants. Great little stop over after driving down Big Sur - and a little tip, head to Moonstone Beach for a sunset!

It’s clean! Friendly! Well located at the end of town. The birds signing during the day are only outdone by the sweet serenade of the frogs at night. Slept like a baby! 💖

The bed is super comfy. Parking was very easy, lots of spots available. The balcony had a lovely view of the trees and a creek.

The towels were too small. There weren’t any extra blankets.

Obviously the owners put a lot into upgrading this place. Very clean, new everything.

They don't do daily cleaning during your stay (typical of most motels now since COVID). They do provide fresh towels if you ask. However, if you are expected to reuse your towels, they should provide more towel racks to hang up your damp towels. A single towel bar in the bathroom won't cut it. Also, this room (104) has a shower stall, which is fine, but no hand rail to balance yourself, and no shelf to put your own shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, etc. Yes, they have shampoo and body wash dispensers on the wall, but I prefer to use my own brands.

They have really done an overhaul with this place. We always use to stay here throughout the years as our daughter lives in town and it’s easy for us to walk downtown. The bathrooms were completely redone and they look wonderful. The rooms have been redone and are refreshing with all the amenities you would need. This place is definitely worth the value compared to the more expensive hotels on moonstone drive.
