The location on the beach is the best part. You can walk to restaurants and shopping and hang out on the beach. The staff was very receptive and moved us to another room when the kitchen drain was leaking all over the floor. The view from the balcony was nice and we could hear the waves. Having a parking space inside the property was huge!

These rooms are 99 years old and show it. There is nothing in the kitchenette except a few coffee cups and a few water glasses so bring your own supplies. The buildings are very close together so you’ll hear your neighbors. A lot of tourists walk through all the time, so privacy is an issue at times. It’s expensive for an average room, you’re paying for the location.

I like to how close it was to the water and how close it was to the town we could go have a few drinks and come back walking walking with no isbut she's. Great restaurants great people.

Only downside was the air conditioning the heater was very small it did the job but I would have liked to have a bigger heating source, There is also no real way to tell what room you are getting on the app I would like to know if I had a view or not but it didn't specify.

Great location In the heart of Capitola Village and cutest pastel colored hotel in the sand. Loved the pelican carved into the door with its eye as the peep hole. Our room was listed as not having an ocean view, it was the last available room; however we had a spectacular view of the lagoon and across the lagoon the restaurant light at night. We loved our lack of an ocean view. It’s not the quietest location because of nearby foot traffic of beach goers and tourists, but we liked the hustle and bustle of being in the middle of the action. We will be back.

The price is a little high.

The location was so amazing just 150 from the beach. The property and rooms are adorable but could use some updating, but overall it was an excellent hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much!!! The place exudes chatm!

Peeling paint in bathroom. Bathroom and kitchen could use could use some updating. Parking was a little tight but it was to be expected and we were able to maneuver in and out.

Everything about the room itself was great, very comfortable and safe feeling! Staff was super kind and responsive when we had a problem.

The neighbors kids kept Ding dong ditching both of our rooms! But your staff was amazing and responsive when I called about it! And the parking spaces were tight , but that seems to be standard there, all in all it was a great stay!

The location is excellent - steps to the beach, a short walk up the street to the stores, restaurants and bars. Convenient parking. Had a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, sink, set of 4 glasses and coffee mugs

Next time I would definitely pay extra for a view of the beach or deck. With microwave and refrigerator, it would be nice to supply paper plates or plastic ware. I was able to bring my leftovers home to reheat for the next day, but didn't have the plates or silverware. Also - whether free or for minimal charge, access to bottled water would be nice.

I like the location - easily accessible for my husband who is in a wheelchair. Very easy access to the beach which my grandsons loved!! The staff was very accommodating as well as friendly.

I understand why but not having any utensils, dishes, etc without having to rent them was a bummer.

Easy, close access to restaurants. Disappointed that there weren’t more shops open.

Devastated at all the damage that the storms have left, especially the Pier! My father’s plaque was at the end of the Pier and now out to sea ☹️

Close to the beach and our restaurant venue, very centrally located. Quaint and romantic.

Parking is tight, compact car recommended. Although the room had a kitchen with stove there was not any kitchenware, dishes, pots, pans, or silverware? I think it might have been an oversight for our room.

Perfect location room with a good size for families

there is a small kitchen but there is a $25 fee to use the utensils plus to $25 for the pans.
