We had a girls road trip, so we needed something w 2 beds and a garage. Both requirements were perfectly met! The place is very cozy, beds are comfy, garage is gated, and a suite is pretty spacious. The pool was smaller than we expected, but still very much enjoyed it. Breakfast was from 6:30-10am and very delicious! Overall great stay!

Only small things: - There was no soap in the bathroom, so we had to request from the front desk, but they brought it very quick - We were hoping to find some water in the room, but there was only tap water

It was clean and the staff was outstanding. The location was great.

We did not know the pool was closed. We have a child with autism and the pool is the way we encourage travel. We were offered the pool at a motel down the street but that’s not such an easy thing. It didn’t help that we saw someone in the pool from the exercise room who must have snuck in. If an amenity is closed please post it. It was maintenance related so there was warning. Also, you had to run the hot water for five minutes to get it lukewarm. The morning we left it never got hot at all.

property and rooms were clean and perfect for what we needed. Ten minute walk to the hook tree and a small beach. All the staff was very friendly and helpful, but the most helpful were the ladies in the kitchen at breakfast time, they were so nice and helpful, the eating area was very well stocked with food (Breakfast was amazing so many choices) and all the tables were immaculate. When someone left after they were done eating those ladies cleaned them right away. They were very good at there jobs. We will definitely be making this our regular hotel when visiting Capitola.

We really appreciated the size of the room, including the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the services available on the television. The breakfast was very good and easy to use. I like having a tray so I could bring breakfast and coffee back to the room. My sister is disabled, so that was very helpful.

Our bedroom TV malfunctioned several times when I was trying to sign in to Netflix, or just use the basic cable service. The picture would simply go black while the sound was still on. It was very frustrating. Because there is no phone in the room, I had to walk to the front desk and report it. I was told that the TV would be rebooted and it would take 20 minutes to half an hour. All the while, my dinner which I had picked up from a nearby restaurant was getting cold. It did get fixed, but the next night it did the same thing!

Love the cleanliness the nice super nice staff it’s quiet very reasonably priced for what you’re getting it’s a good value and especially the secured parking love it that pretty much sells it for me Excellent location close to the freeway can get down to Capitola really quick Santa Cruz just a super super nice please have stayed there four times probably will not stay anywhere else but there when I come to that area

Honestly nothing that I could see like I said the cleanliness is impeccable ask for late check out got it no problem anything I asked for it was taken care of immediately the cleaning staff super pleasant very nice people I wouldn’t change a thing whatever you’re doing is working and it’s outstanding

Comfortable room, customer service, easy parking, and pretty good breakfast.

The vibe is a little sterile. We were hoping to find something with a bit more ambience near the beach or restaurants, but this seemed like the best reasonably priced choice given the mixed reviews of other hotels. There was a movie theater and good gastropub nearby.

Quick and friendly check-in. Convenient to the lobby and the pool. Very nice hot tub. We liked that the pool was heated to a desirable temperature on a cold evening.

This was our third stop on our vacation, the most expensive, the smallest room, and the breakfast was pretty good, but not as good as the others. The least desirable of the three, all Marriott hotels.

Excellent, respected service - thank you! The hotel is clean and quiet on all floors. The staff at hotel are efficient and professional (a huge difference between the previous hotel in San Francisco - Kensington Park Hotel - really bad (: !). Everything worked well. Thinking about membership in this chain of hotels.

The location, large room, comfortable bed and housekeeping was very helpful and polite.

The front desk was very unfriendly and didn’t make you feel welcome. Ryan was even rude when I asked if they gave complimentary water at check in. He replied “if we did, you would have received it”.

there was a disshevelled-looking guy that basically set up at the hot tub. He had quite a smell and was spread out everywhere, leaving it impossible to be near him or use the hot-tub for any part of my stay
