modern room and bathroom, comfortable bed, big tv, heating, friendly staff, free coffee. although I didn’t use it, the swimming pool and spa looked nice

if I had to find one dislike it would be that the rooms facing the street have bright lights pointing right at them. I understand this is to make the property stand out for people driving past but it keeps the rooms from being fully dark. if those front rooms had thicker curtains to block out the light that would be amazing. Not a huge problem but this is literally the only thing I could fault about the place

The inn was good for what we paid. We just needed a place to stay for the night. It’s a nice place to stay if you’re visiting Santa Barbara. Downtown SB is 15 minute drive.

There was a lot of black lint in the bed but at least it WASN’T bed bugs

The facility was a bit old, but well-maintained. Staff was always friendly and helpful. The in-room microwave and fridge were great. When we visit the area again, we will definitely consider staying here.

Parking was an issue. We could not always find a space to accommodate our car. Part of this was due to the fact that the facility was hosting a number of construction workers who had large trucks, so this might not be the norm.

Cute little motel with easy access from the freeway. The rooms were clean and the decor was nice. They cleaned our room each day, which I did not expect and gave us fresh linens and towels as well. There were plenty of cable channels to choose from and overall it was mostly quiet.

Only one car is allowed a space in the lot. There was additional parking on the street. The beds were too firm for my back, so I woke up sore. They hold $100 in cash or on your card until you check out. They also charge $5 per lost card key.

Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms with refrigerator, WiFi, large TV and great shower. There is free parking available, but it can get busy at times. Only 15mins drive to Santa Barbara.

It can be noisy at night time as it's situated right next to the freeway so if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs.

convenient to the Freeway means it’s ON the freeway. a lot of freeway noise. a/c was loud too.

Accommodation was better than expected- thoughtful layout with lots of counter space, very very clean (no smells of chemicals/ cover-ups as you encounter in other hotels), and with fun design touches. It was much better than the sufficient, cheap accommodation I expected and I prefer its casual atmosphere and experience to other more expensive places I’ve stayed in the past.

The gentleman checking us in was great. Saw my daughter in a wheelchair and changed our room for a downstairs one and made it very comfortable for us. I really appreciated it

The gentlemen when checking out wasnt as friendly. Checked room so we could get our $100 cash depisit back. My disabled daughter drooled in her sleep so he said there was a $10 charge. He gave me $70. I had to tell him that was a 30 dollar charge. He gave me the other $20. I got a call later that day asking if i had checked out. Apparently the morning guy never checked me out

For the price, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the location was good. All I needed was a place to sleep and shower in the morning, so this fit the bill.

My room directly faced the frontage road and the highway, so there was significant traffic noise. Luckily, I'm a longtime traveller and always travel prepared with earplugs and sleep mask and can sleep well enough just about anywhere with them, so it wasn't that big of an issue for me. I can see how it might be problematic for some, however.

The room was huge, very clean with lots of space to put my luggage. It was a great alternative to staying in the very expensive Santa Barbara. Carpenteria is a great town. It was a very comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable. The welcome was warm and helpful.

My front door was so close to the highway 101. The noise was quite incredible. Traffic noise came through the door frame rather than the window. However ear plugs resolved the issue but it's worth knowing their Queen rooms are closest to the highway.
