Loved the location, Bed was comfy, very clean, and very nice views of the ocean! Greeted with smiles at the check-in counter, which is always nice as well. Overall it was a great stay for us! They even have a few fire pits to cook some Smore's!

I bought 2 small candy bars and a short stack pringles, and it was $12.00!!! I felt like that was highway robbery. If I had known the prices, I would have never paid that. Prices should be marked! I mean, that's 4 bucks a piece!!! I have yet to see the price charged for a light jacket my hubby bought charged on our room card.

Our room was spacious enough for a family of 4 with luggage and the view was spectacular. When we moved to a new place we really missed waking up to it. The location is close to town and a short walk for a bite to eat and, if you like craft beers, Overtime Brewery. The coastal walking tracks are fabulous to have so close and we enjoyed a great bike ride up to Mckerracher State Park and Lake Cleone using the bikes available to hire. We also enjoyed sitting around the fire pits in the evenings as the sun set over the ocean. If you have a car, Mongomery Woods is about an hour's drive and a lovely place to see the grandeur of these huge trees. A trip to Boonville is just a little further but a gorgeous drive and there are lovely wineries to visit along the way.

The sink/basin is not located in the bathroom and a kettle/jug is not provided. It didn't bother us, but it's worth noting that you have to request for your room to be made up, as this is not offered daily.

The walking distance to the ocean and all its beauty. The long paved walkway right outside our room that runs up and down the coast. Plus, smaller non paved trails that wind through the ice plants and foliage across the tops of the bluffs that give amazing views of the crashing waves. The small patio with chairs outside the room with beautiful ocean views. Plus, it’s excellent for people and dog watching. First day we saw numerous whale blow holes while sitting on the patio. We kept the slider open slightly to hear the waves at night. Room was very clean with the basic amenities.

We were on the ground floor. So, could hear walking above us and small children running. Plus, even though the paved walkway right out back is nice, it’s also a bit noisy at times. Plus, not as private as the upper level would be with the decks. Next time we’ll get a room on 2nd floor and just deal with the stairs.

I loved the location, the ease of getting to it, the convenience of the beach access, the amenities, etc. room was clean. Fridge was cold (we’ve stayed places where the fridge wasn’t cold nor did it get cold enough to keep perishables good). Bed was comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

I didn’t care for that the room became very hot and stuffy if you didn’t have the back door and either the front door or bathroom window open. This was a safety concern during sleep hours but thankfully we had brought both of our sons small portable fans which helped. Either locking screens on the back doors or a spare tan would have been nice. We were on vacation at a beautiful place so it was tolerable.

So relaxing! A sliding door that opened right to the beach with patio chairs, easy access to town, comfy beds, and a great staff to man the desk. I loved my stay and loved the morning walks on the beach and trails. We arguably stayed in some of the 'worst' rooms (below the lido deck on the end of the complex) and still massively enjoyed our stay, though we would request an upper unit next time.

Breakfast was initially included in the hotel description but then we were told it was stopped due to covid, so I think it's safe to say this is not coming back (and does lower the value of the stay a bit with cost).

The patio right outside our door looked out on the ocean and a beautiful clump of trees. I was looking forward to sitting out there or down by the fire pits, but it was too windy and cold. It was a very pleasant place on our last morning there, though, which made it hard to leave! Our room was quiet so there must be good insulation between rooms and floors. The walking trail in both directions was perfect for us with our weak knees.

Bicycles could have been free for an hour's use for guests.

The room was very comfortable. Loved the patio with fire pits & seating. Clean inside & out. Beautiful succulents & plants. Coffee, t a & hot cocoa all day. No muse cleaning service unless you ask. Dog friendly & room didn't smell like dog. Beautiful views. Access to the beach. Walking trail & locks of Love on the bridge.Our favorite place to stay!

I wish they'd bring back the breakfast goodies or at least have a tray delivered in the morning.

The room (upstairs king) was large and comfortable and had a great view of the sea. I found it a bit pricey especially since the information I had indicated a breakfast was included and that was not the case. At the price they charge I would have expected it as there were other motels that did not look as nice that advertised breakfast. Also the closest place for breakfast is about a mile away and a Dennys.

Rooms were very clean. The service was phenomenal. The location is amazing. The beach was steps away and the sand is beautiful. Best beach in town.

Because we reserved with Booking.com we were automatically put on the bottom floor even though we booked months in advance. The hotel was nice and put us on an available top floor unit for Sunday and Monday nights. So we stayed 2 nights on the bottom floor with no ocean view and people walking by your room constantly looking in because the walkway is really elevated.

The view was incredible. We sat on the patio every evening and watched the sunset, listening to the roar of the waves. Every morning and evening, while getting ready to go out for a local adventure, we had the large sliding glass door open, enjoying the fresh, salty air, the mesmerizing sound of the ocean, and the cacophony of wild birds declaring their presence. With the sun set, we ventured to the firepits and roasted marshmallows and chatted with new found friends, sharing our love of the area over a glass of wine.

Though clean and spacious was the overall room, we wish the bathroom was a tad larger. Nothing that we couldn't work around! We were just spoiled with our larger than necessary bathrooms at home! We appreciated the large space in the bedroom area.
