I loved the vibe, great culture and the diversity of the people that work there care about each other and the guest. you instantly feel like family. everyone was kind, fun and helpful. Great location to walk to surrounding restaurants, bars and galleries. Rooftop restaurant/bar is epic with good food and incredible view of the ocean. LIVE music in the front lobby every nite we stayed. LOVED IT!!!

Rooms are small so we could not double up in rooms. Heat and air was tricky to use in the rooms but the weather was great and I overheard the clerk say they were replacing units with a new system. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say. It feels like a historic building with lots of charm and character.

This is in a great location and has an amazing roof top restaurant! I stay here every time I am in Laguna. The staff is friendly and unpretentious.

This is a great hotel but improvements could be made to the maintenance of the property to make it an A+. They have portable AC's in each room but if you run it you will get condensation on the floor. I am certain there is a fix or they should provide towels exclusively for this purpose.

The hotel was conformable and clean. With it's location this is a great value and I'd definitely stay there again. The beach cove beneath the hotel is magical. The rooftop restaurant was a good time and the view was amazing.

The northern facing room was a bit noisy in the early morning, but Laguna has early risers. I felt as if the food and service at the rooftop restaurant could have been better, but I had a good time.

I love that this property is small. it gives small hometown vibe. I love that the staff was just so attentive, so helpful, and so just overall amazing to make the experience much better.

I love the location of the property. I love that the peach pill with just a few steps. I love that they were restaurants local eateries, local tea shop, local bars by just to make everything not such a long drive

This has to be the most beautiful place I have stayed at! We had a surf room and it was amazing, very cosy and cute. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were fortunate enough to have an earlier check in after contacting them prior, and they made sure our room was ready for our early arrival. We will definitely go back here on our next trip to America.

We came here to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday with another couple. The front desk host immediately said happy birthday to my husband and upgraded our room to a king surf room with gorgeous ocean views. Not only that but they upgraded our friends room also. Inside our room was a bottle of wine with two glasses and a lovely card from the hotel wishing happy birthday. It all made us feel very warm and welcomed. Dinner on the Rooftop had a wonderful view and our waiter was very friendly, humorous, and accommodating. He even brought a free dessert with a candle at the end. Fresh coffee and danish in the lounge in the morning. All staff were very friendly even when just passing in the hall. Beautiful, historic atmosphere and great location topped it all off!

Very good location (close to the beach, restaurants and shuttle bus). Very nicely decorated. Friendly and accommodating staff. Beach items (towels, chairs, umbrella, surfboard) given by the reception staff. Good coffee in the lobby. Parking.

Loved the view, the European architecture, the friendly, beachy vibe. It was our 2nd time back. We were celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary. Found this smallish, boutiquey hotel originally, thru your company years before. The roof menu while limited bc of Covid, was delicious and since it was raining, the receptionist had it brought down infront of the lobby fireplace where friends from the area, my hubby and myself, ate goodies, wine celebrating my bday and Life and being together. It was the BEST. We will definitely go back. We are Lifees for this hotel. It's Home.

super clean comfy smelled good near the beach

parking. they allow people to park for the lounge upstairs without paying a fee and then you don't get a spot if you come back around 7-11 pm it's so small as well. they should only allow parking on meters for non guests. it's still free but if we park there you get towed at 8am

AMAZING location if you are staying in Laguna Beach! Walking distance to everything you need and there's a rooftop bar/restaurant. Also, the Cress St beach entrance is literally steps away.. Be mindful this is a historic building so some features might not be as "up to date"/modern, but overall, this is a great property. I highly recommend staying in one of the "surf-themed" rooms if you have the chance!
