Our room was clean, light and airy with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Our king bed was super comfortable. We had 2 rooms between our family and the other room had a wonderful kitchenette that was well equipped.

The swimming pool was too cold to be used. Hotel is a little dated and could do with a facelift. This did not bother us but imagine some people may be put off by this. Our room was lovely and quiet but my Mum and daughters room unfortunately wasn't so quiet as the guest in the neighbouring room, had 2 dogs with them. No problem with dogs in hotels but guests should not be able to leave the dogs unattended for long periods of time. Fortunately this guest arrived 2 days before the end of our vacation otherwise for a whole week, barking dogs would have ruined the stay.

Perfect location on the beach front. Super comfy and clean beds. Nice balcony to chill out on

Paid valet parking only. Valet parking only as there is no normal parking. Which I do not understand. When you're paying good money to stay at a hotel then surely parking should be included. There was no need for valet parking. We did not need valet parking and do not see the point in it. There should be an option to park the car yourself free of charge or if you want then pay for valet. You're already paying to stay there, I don't know why you have to pay extra to park your car in the carpark!

The location of the hotel is amazing. There are very nice restaurants and bars close by. Also, beach access is very close. The room had a good size, nice furniture and it was clean.

The room building is separated from the hotel lobby and where you can drop your luggage. The door was locked on the way between the rooms and the lobby so we had to carry our luggage through the stairs.

The location is beautiful and most of the staff was very kind. The small city of Laguna is small enough to walk many places from this hotel.

We had to pull out very heavy beach chairs from under the deck. It was difficult and very frustrating knowing that I was paying for this service. Many other guests were doing the same thing each day. This is not the only time this has happened. We did not have hot water for the shower our first day there. Once we had it fixed it went from hot to cold to hot. We never had a decent shower on our trip.

The property was directly over the ocean and absolutely perfect! We kept our sliding glass door opened all night and just listened to the waves. Checking in was super easy and the valet process was easy. The room was clean and cozy. Lots of good channels on the tv. They even had a little plug in heater but even though it was raining, we still didn’t need to use it and it’s the middle of winter right now. There’s room service as well but we didn’t do that. I would def stay here again!

Bathroom in our room was a tad bit small but that was okay. Also it’s $45 a day for valet.

incredible view from our room, easy access to main beach, nice shower, comfortable bed, easy to operate TV, very nice keurig coffee maker in room.

first night, people in next room were talking on balcony all night and smoking. smoke was in our room - stinky. notified front desk the next day. second night, a man was banging on our door close to 9pm. we called front desk and they sent security. it’s Laguna Beach, it’s crowded, and people are housed on top of each other! Not a peaceful quiet getaway.

Steps away from the beach. Which was great for my 80-year-old mom. Highly recommend getting a room in one of the front towers. The other rooms are very small and minimal view. The staff members ( front desk, valet, room service and beach attendants) were all pleasant., Especially Kiora at the front desk. Her customer service is A+. There's a bar and restaurant up front whith decks overlooking the beach.

The first day I checked into my room. It was an aweful matchbox (small and claustrophobic) The carpet looked very worn. Only 2 views. A small window looking at a wall and dirt trash alley or the slidingdoor (didn't slide open)it faced the back valet alley and other buildings, has a window AC, no phone in the room to call the front desk. So the next day I went up and paid for an upgrade and then was moved to the white tower which is newly renovated. (thanks to Kiora) big window, or step out the door and see a beautiful view of the beach. They have complimentary coffee in the room, but why not bottles of water? Even if they were small ones. I didn't want to have to pay for nothing fancy.

Our room overlooking the ocean was amazing and we were so close to the beach! We really loved the big balcony and seating area. It was an excellent location for sunset watching and beach access. The pictures on booking.com matched what we expected, so I’m very happy about that! We love that there are two restaurants close to our room overlooking the beach as well. The service and food at Driftwood was great! Over it was a great experience.

There are many buildings that are not “attached” to the main hotel and in our building there was not an ice machine or vending machine for waters, but in the main building we had to search for these amenities. One of the ice machines wasn’t working so we had to look all over for one. The elevators were slow and weren’t as efficient as we would have liked. The vallet parking I think was very over priced and did not match the book.com fee of $38 a night. When we checked in the staff told me it is actually $45! The staff was kind of sleepy and not as energetic or welcoming as we would have liked, however over the phone they were obliging and accommodating. These are minor things that I did not affect our whole view of our stay, we had a great time and enjoyed it.

This is an amazing place, with beautiful views and right on the beach, with so many kind people and great hospitality. Everything was provided for us. Great location. We want to thank especially Dylan, the person who keeps us coming back to this hotel again and again. He is the man you should seek out and who knows what the word hospitality means in its true meaning. We have never had a better welcome in any hotel in the whole world. What a man he is!

Everything was great and very relaxed!

very affordable

I stood in room #2 and it was beyond filthy the floors. we had to wear shoes cause if we went barefoot or with socks they would turn pure black on the bottom from all the dirt! the covers look not washed and smelled bad. the sofa bed had a lot of sand on it and a apple under it so you can just tell the room service needs to step up big time! on top of the some of the light bulbs in the room were out so those are easy fixes. a light bulb is like 2-3$ little fixes but all around it was comfortable and the staff was very nice. it was a good trip we would come back we just hope next time the room is more up to standards!
