Larkspur Landing Sacramento-An All-Suite Hotel

The staff was helpful, check in was easy, there was a decent selection for breakfast. The outside door handle to our room didn't pop back up after we opened the door so we thought it may have been broken. The front desk staff had maintenance come down to check it out quickly.

The morning after our first night, there was a guy outside the hotel walking around with a box of foil and asked us if we had any fentanyl. And he didn't leave us alone until we went inside. And the same day there was a couple outside our window fighting in the parking lot on and off till about 10pm.

beautiful flowers around outdoor landscaping, clean and comfy interior upon arrival. rooms were clean and the kitchen was unexpectedly great!! saving the best for last : the STAFF WAS INCREDIBLE!!! they were all so nice and friendly! they made it feel like cheers, like we’ve know them all and have been friends for a while. they were all so kind, I can’t stress how wonderful the staff was. truly a refreshing experience!! most places, the staff is alright, nice but nothing too great. this place, they really were so friendly! they all had smiles, everyone always said hi and they were all so polite!! 10/10 will absolutely return next time we have to stay in Sacramento!!

I didn’t know about this place sooner!! I wish there was an AC in the bedroom.

Good room for our stay, and didnt have an issues at all.

Small things looked old/werent in the best of shape. For instance the tv was old kept restarting and didnt get all the channels it said. The microwave couldnt be opened fully making it hard to use. The dishwasher was put in in a way that made it hard to start the dishwasher. No fan in the bathroom and all cloth shower curtains that were immediately wet after showering for a few minutes.

check in and check out. Fast,always accommodating.Hotel interior-clean atmosphere is welcoming more access to reading materials rooms always clean housekeeping as friendly and also friendly Breakfast I wish the hotel would go back to hot meals

the exterior the parking lot always has disgarded garbage along both sides of the building and at each outer exit doors the exterior verses interior is nite and day

It was easy to find, and had ample parking. The room had a kitchenette, and full size fridge. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious.

Because people cook in the rooms, our room smelled like old bacon. The front staff said there was USB ports in the room, but there wasn’t. They did let us borrow a cube to charge our phone though, very helpful!

We were there while our house interior was being painted. The location was great. it was quiet and we felt safe staying there. We had to extend our stay and decided to upgrade to a larger room after a few days and they did it very quickly. The small kitchen had everything we needed.

They didn’t have a designated pet area for our dogs but there was plenty of grass on the property.

We ended up here after being rejected by the nearby Hilton Hotel. I have a prepaid card and when I tried to check in the desk clerk rudely informed me they don’t take green dot cards and I needed to provide another form of payment. Well that’s fine but I didn’t have one. The desk clerk tossed my card back at me like I was trash and I left humiliated. Found this hotel nearby and was treated kindly by the staff and my two children and I were grateful to be off the road and out of the rain.

Creepy looking smoke alarms. I have a loud noise phobia and these creeped me out but not a big deal at all. More my issue than anything else. LOL.

Well maintained, clean, and in a good location.

Desk staff was not particularly responsive. I had to press for a printed receipt after being told it had been e-mailed to me (it wasn’t). Days later I had to contest the hotel billing amount through my credit card after the hotel lagged in refunding my early departure days.

The desk clerk that was working that night had taken $250 off of my credit card. She had told me it was for a deposit and when I noticed several days later that I had not gotten my deposit back, I had given the property a call and was told they do not have a $250 deposit and that there was nothing they could do.

I had money stolen from my account by the staff working that night.

Check-in was easy and we were in our room very quickly. The front desk staff was pleasant and answered any questions we had.

I understand, due to covid, that complimentary breakfasts are limited. Breakfast choices were just so so. Luckily there is a diner 50 yards away that made up for the breakfast. Other hotels offering a complimentary breakfast provided better selections to eat and drink. Not a deal breaker, but will not be an incentive to stay.
