SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Sacramento Cal Expo

Super private and comfortable! Nice to just relax when you want to head back to your hotel and unwind. Bed was super comfortable and the ac/heater was fairly simple to use. The bathroom much to my shock was spotless! As was all our bedding which I immediately looked over. I’m very impressed and I’m definitely going to want to stay here again.

I’m not sure who but we had a few issues most nights with some of the other guests smoking marijuana on the property despite there being a no smoking rule on the property. I don’t blame the hotel for this issue though.

It is clear they are letting the place slip downward from last year. No pool or Spa...just green water. Grumpy night clerk lady, NO TOWELS upon check in...went to the front desk and got one for the both of us. Seemed like people were living there...kids running and screaming during the day. If they want to divide it info part Motel and part temp living they should divide it so the motel guests do not have to deal with the drama. We will stay again as it is cheap but I sure hope they put some effort into it.

Sure stay was very nice in all aspects of my stay other then one major problem. I reserved a room on bookings so my sister could easily pay for it with her credit card. I was in Sacramento, she was in Olympia, Washington. Seems simple enough. What ended up happening is my credit card that was just holding the reservation was carded and my sister's credit card was charged. When at the motel I was told they would get it straightened out, but they never did. My sister's card was charged to a different room then mine. It's taken one month with a number of calls and emails, so far with no resolution. Needless to say this overcharge has cost me a great deal of trouble and expense.

I didn't actually stay this trip. Although I have stayed many times before. Unfortunately,due to a bad judgement call, I found myself without my ID or $ card the day of my reservation. After the first night (still holding on to the hope if them being returned) I did not cancel the reservation. Leaving me unable to check in on either night of the 2 nights I had booked. I'm leaving this review bcuz although my reservation was non refundable, they did not chargee for either night which was such a huge blessing considering I would not be able to have my card replaced for a number of days. They were also willing to work with me in regards to my ID. I had photo copy as well as being a repeat & familiar customer. I ended up sleeping in my truck due to my inability to access funds but the hotel & staff went far and beyond what I had expected. I am very grateful and will absolutely continue to stay at their hotel. I must add, for the price, the location, the cleanliness, the feeling of security, the ease of accommodating my service animal, and the sound sleep I always get during my stay.. they STILL get 10's across the board from me! 😁 Thanks again Sure Stay Cal Expo & Staff. I will see you next time!

weirdo creepy people stay there loud fight next door and loud noise when people walk upstairs not good area for woman alone

I liked that the property has been upgraded from the previous property. Unfortunately the front desk facilities are still in the middle of being renovated. But the room was clean and upgraded from my previous experience staying there

The front desk facilities are still in the middle of being renovated so there's a little confusion as to where to check in. The parking area closest to my room was completely full. I'm disabled so walking any distance is a challenge especially at night when I'm completely blind. A few idiots were showing off their stupidity by racing around the property. This is VERY dangerous especially with small children around. I didn't feel safe walking around the parking area in the back after dark. I recommend hiring a security guard to keep watch in the back parking area.

I was just there overnight to rest after a long drive before hitting the road again. The room, bed, bathroom were all great! Bed very comfortable. No elevators though but only two floors.

The room came with breakfast and I was looking forward to it but I wanted to get going early and breakfast didn't start until 7am so I checked out early without waiting for food.

Inside the rooms was very nice. Certainly didn't match the outside

There were homeless people hanging out in the stairs or the parking lot there was people fighting and yelling and screaming I still haven't received my deposit back they didn't have any butter or syrup for waffles for the breakfast in the morning see

Like that it clean quiet and the breakfast was awsome

Didn't like the part where I didn't even check out and the maids came into the room and took all my bedsheet and towel came back to a naked room. Wish I came back to a maid that was naked and waiting 4 me instead. But other than that the place is awsome

it was a normal room,

1. the front office approach is not good, not like a hotel front dest, pretty funny. 2. Front office not issuing receipt for the $100.00 deposit and say computer does not print the receipt for the deposit but when you check out , you will get the deposit receipt. I did not get my deposit $100.00 receipt even at checkout though I demanded. I still did not get my deposit money back. I stayed in this hotel two times on different dates and i was charged $100.00 each time as deposit. I still did not get my $200.00 back. Please rush it has been long time otherwise I will file a complaint with concerned departments and put bad review about your hotel.
