Room was nice, modern & clean. King Suite had 2 TVs. Breakfast had a good variety and the waffles were delicious. Coffee & Cream available in lobby!

Bed was a little firm. The sofa was more comfortable. Height of the shower head…made it seem like no pressure, hard to rinse.

Spacious room with microwave and fridge in a room. 10 minutes walk to the Natural Bridges park.

Disposable tableware for breakfast is not nice. No water offered in a room.

The location was surprisingly quiet being both close to HWY 1 and the beach at Natural Bridges.

Breakfast was wonderful staff seem courtesy. It was clean and had everything in the snack bar if needed as well as a quiet location. Across from a gym and a beach view 🧐. Staff gave me a couple on book for boardwalk really appreciate that.

Booked a room with a bathtub as i have had several back surgeries and when I got there even though it said it on my booking email I was told that they didn't have a room with a bath to suite us. I literally almost cried and she said she was sorry to try the jacuzzi early. Needless to say the hot tub was full with lots of loud young couples and for hours unchecked each morning and each night. Different people but no room for me. I don't have a bath at home have to go to physical therapy etc etc my whole trip was based around a tub and as nice as it was it didn't have the one thing I needed and wanted most. This has been my first vacation in 4 years taking care of my elderly parents and then my sister got cancer. I was so excited. Sorry it seem silly but it was quite a let down.

Great location for visiting UCSC. About 15 min walk to the state beach. Nice selection for breakfast. Very good restaurants within short drive.

Arrived at 3:30pm and at first told no rooms were available. Then someone yelled from an office that the rooms on the 4th floor are finished being clean but not updated in the computer. He then assigned us a room on the 3rd floor, which had an ajar door when we arrived but it was clean. Very strange.

Great location, really good breakfast

my swimsuit bleached out in the hot tub, I showed it to the manager after it happened. The Sunday morning breakfast crew talked loudly to each other while we were trying to have a quiet breakfast, so we moved to another area

I found the room spacious and clean. The seating area was very nice, sofa bed to couch, and the desk handy. I was grateful for the elevator because stairs are getting harder as I age. The buffet breakfast was great, especially nice to have a large choice of food.

I found the closet on the small side for three people to share. Also, there were quite a lot of permanent students staying using the hotel as a dorm. It was hard to distinguish between guest or someone wandering in off the street for safety reasons. The parking spaces are very tight for such an up scale place, so be prepared for some dings.

Some people women at breakfast area with bad humor, upset, not happy and very dry with customers, she arrived at facility around 10:00 am , direct to the breakfast area , dressing in black , mouthing the nice employees.

the only downfall is I did not get the room that I reserved. I communicated to the staff that I will check in late. they replied that it’s ok. but still I did not get the room that I reserved. but overall it’s ok

This hotel is located on the safer, cleaner side of Santa Cruz. For this reason alone I would stay here again. The entry and lobby are lovely, front desk staff are very friendly, and the included breakfast is somewhat better than a similar level of hotel nearby. The room was very clean and had everything I needed, except a luggage rack. I didn't use the exercise room, pool, or hot tub, but I saw others using them and it is nice that they are available. The personalized greeting on the TV screen when I arrived was a nice touch. I appreciate that they use refillable shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower, which eliminates the millions of tiny plastic bottles that are wasted by the hotel industry in general.

The blankets were thin and not warm enough. The heater would randomly blow cold air and made a rattling noise intermittently.
