I stayed at this hostel for a week in a 6-bed male dormitory. The hostel is incredibly well-located, close to major museums, monuments, and just a short walk from the center, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The staff is genuinely friendly and very helpful. The place is super clean; they frequently change the sheets and are always available to provide fresh towels. The rooms are quiet, and the overall atmosphere is great! There’s a fully equipped kitchen, with a fridge for each guest to store their things, as well as a laundry facility. At the entrance, there’s a bar where you can have breakfast if you like. Next door, there’s a great pizzeria (with a discount for guests), a convenience store (mini-market), and across the street, an amazing Mexican restaurant. The Wi-Fi is excellent! Bathrooms are located in the hallway, but there are plenty of them, each with a private shower, toilet, and sink, so you can use them in complete privacy for as long as needed.

The only minor downside is that the air conditioning is always on, which makes the air quite dry. However, the reception is very accommodating and will adjust or turn it off if you ask.

Very good facilities to sit in the entrance area (nice music!), kitchen and "library". The room was made twice. Cheap and good laundry facilities. Very good wifi. Friendly and helpful staff.

The bedding could have been thicker. The mattress was a bit too soft for my taste. The room had no good table to sit and work on. The window in my room could not be opened. My long charging cable did not work well.

Nice atmosphere. Cool coffee shop downstairs. Great, convenient location. Clean bathrooms. Great staff.

Bunk mattress was adequate, and to be fair, this is a hostel, so you can't really compare it the comfort of a hotel bed. I was on a micro budget for a business conference and felt it was worth it to save literally hundreds of dollars on my trip. But I think it was a little bit hard on this 59 year old's bones for 4 nights. Comparing to hostels across the world, it rates highly - and I think younger, less creaky bodies would do just fine. The folks at the hostel were super nice and the fellow travelers were considerate.

Everything! The place is super nice and the staff are absolutely amazing! All of them, specially the nice gentleman who was there over the weekend and the funny guy with the bad jockes during night shift. Rooms are adecuate, clean, not a lot of noise from the outside. I told all my friends and they switched to this hotel. coming back next year for sure. location is good close to bus. newly renovated hotel with lots of charm

blinds! need blackout curtains, too much light! the shower was funcky, either super hot or too cold, couldn't figure out how to get it to work right. you can sometimes hear the floors crack but old hotel...

Convenient location, ten min walk from convention centre and many bars, restaurants, etc. friendly place with excellent on site cafe and ice cream/ snack bar. Fantastic value for a business traveller that doesn’t require all the typical chain hotel amenities that I don’t have time to use (gym, pool, etc). En suite room was spacious, big traditional bath and plenty of hot water from powerful over bath shower

Couldn’t get a coffee at 3am when jet lag had me up and awake, not really the hotels fault but prepare by having some supplies to make your own (I assume you could use the shared kitchen??)

This is the best, cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed in! My partner and I were very pleased. I saw them cleaning everything thoroughly, everyday. They even provided room service, which I’ve never experienced at a hostel before. This was the perfect distance from the Civic Center where we were conducting business at during our stay. Easily accessible by bus and a very walkable neighborhood! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the best part about all of this is how affordable the room was for the weekend! We will definitely be staying here again!

It's situated right in the middle of Downtown. It's a 100 year old property turned into a hostel. I had a very good stay, the staff (particularly Chriss) at the frontdesk was very helpful and polite. The restrooms were spacious and clean, the kitchen was well equipped. The front gate gets locked at 11 PM which was a good thing from safety perspective. The stairs have potraits of the family that owns the hostel, and it breathes lot of personality to the building. Also loved the work area on the ground floor which also houses a coffe shop. There's a pizza shop just next to the Hostel. I tried Colorado Bolder Pizza slice and it was good. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay.

If you are super sensitive to noise, you may be disturbed when someone walks outside as the entire floor has a wooden base with carpet on it, and that makes screetching sounds. For me, it was little irritating at times but not disturbing enough. However, the amenities & other comforts at the property far outweighted this shortcoming.

11th Avenue has the nicest employees you will ever meet, they always greeted us with a smile, when we arrived early they prioritized getting our room ready and even called when it was. The other people who stay at 11th Avenue show the diversity of the people who come to visit Denver, from veterans to young kids with their parents you will meet the most kind and interesting people when you stay here. To top off all of that, there is an excellent coffee and icecream shop in the lobby as well as 24/7 service at the front desk if you need anything including new towels.

There aren’t any cups for water in the room and the tv in my room wasn’t able to get good enough wifi to load anything. But these are both silly complaints for a stay that was otherwise incredible. (Note that wifi worked perfectly fine on phones and laptops)

The staff here is always so accomodating. I stay here every time I'm in Denver because the value cannot be beat without going very far out of the city. One time my AC was not working well and they moved me no problem, and they have always been great about late checkouts or storing my bags if my departure on checkout day is not until late. I also enjoy the library, kitchen facilities, coffee shop, and courtyard sitting area.

It would be nice if guests could control their room temperature themselves instead of asking the front desk to adjust it. The beds are not the greatest - in the Euro room my partner and I always stay in, the beds are not Queen but Full size, so very narrow for the two of us.

I like that they had an elevator and that their location was very modernized for it being a hostel the place was well kept and they had lots of people working there keeping the place very clean

I did not like that they took my credit card and said if there was any damage after I left the room that they would charge my card. I made a comment about wanting to be present before they claimed that damages where done to the room even though they were 4 other people in the room how would they know who did the damage so that was the only thing I was not too pleased with. One of the staff members at the hostel did explain that concern to me and I felt much better after it being cleared up. It’s really a nice hostel and in a very good location.
