Element Denver Downtown East

A very modern and trendy hotel fairly close to several cultural highlights. The room was stylish and sizeable with an up-to-date shower room. It had a bit of a quirky view: some backyard chaos, modern office buildings and electric cables. Several bus stops are nearby.

We almost didn't get to the hotel because Denver doesn't do taxis anymore. The receptionist was unable to help. Later he turned out to be very friendly and helpful when we asked to have the room changed. The way breakfast was organized takes some getting used to. Staff there spoke little to no English, so communication was difficult. Once we knew the ropes it was ok. Communication with room service was impossible altogether.

Stayed here one night while in town for the Christkindle market so it was very convenient (a few blocks walk). The neighborhood is a little odd as it seems to be in the middle of turning over, several boarded up/apparently abandoned houses mixed in with new builds. We felt totally safe though and it's very walkable to nearby attractions. The hotel itself is very nice, modern and clean, and parking was only $18 a night which for Denver is better than average. Also the street meters outside were free after 6pm. Beds were super comfortable!

The hotel breakfast was not bad. Like a lot of previous reviewers, the breakfast was light and a bit on the healthy side-which I didn't mind. They do run out of things around 8am so that as a bit unfortunate. The location was actually pretty great! We were able to walk to one of the Christmas markets, the museums, and even a Starbucks! I did see a few restaurants and bars nearby as well. There is a dispensary right around the corner if you're into that kind of activity ;)

Our sheets had a lot of hairs on it. But after traveling all day, I was too tired to call and ask for new ones. They technically smelled clean, but the hairs made me wonder if they were dog hairs or something else. You have to pay extra for parking in an open lot with no guarantee that your car wont get broken into. I felt like if i'm paying for parking, it should be in a gated lot. But eh

Overall the hotel was very accommodating, we didn’t spend too much time in the room, although it was a little small we didn’t mind it considering it was only my husband and I. We took advantage of the updated gym, &bar, and we loved that there was a chef and had healthy breakfast options. 16th street mall is only about a 10min walk as well as a lot of other nice places to visit like museums and restaurants which we thought was great since parking can be a pain. Staff is very polite and we really liked that we were greeted every time we walked off the elevator or through the lobby. Parking was pretty easy and it was very convenient that we didn’t have to worry much about a parking lot outside of the hotel although there is additional parking available across from it . The whole esthetic and environment was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband wasn’t a fan of the pillows.

The shared spaces big with plenty of outlets and natural light coming in. The room was a good size with comfortable beds, and very clean. The staff were great and very helpful. The gym was clean with plenty of towels. The continental breakfast is a nice amenity too. They also serve coffee all day from the lobby.

The room was a little damp/musty I think from a lack of ventilation. The window only opens a small portion, and the bathroom lacked a strong fan to get humidity out of the room. Also I had trouble purchasing the higher speed wifi, but could use my hotspot for video calls.

We travelled with our 18 month old and got a room with separate bedroom and little kitchen. They made a crib and high chair available. The staff was very friendly. Price was cheaper compared to other hotels around.

The breakfast. Not enough choice. The only spreads were peanut butter and cream cheese. Almost no fruit available. The room was not properly cleaned. We found toys under the couch as well as used Q-tip in the bathroom.

The best Hotel in Denver!!! Very nice stuff and delicious breakfast! Room very clean and comfortable, is with small kitchen, bad is modern. Outside is romantic fire to chill , we rent a car and get good garage. Next to Hotel is Beautiful Denver Art Museum. Recommend for my friends and family. Breakfast was humble but there was plenty of it - both warm cooked foods and cereal. Rooms clean and well equipped for a longer stay than mine. Could turn off the airconditioning and could open the windows for fresh air - mind you it was minus 8 c when I was there so the windows were only briefly opened.

Automatic lights in toilet were good but at full poer in the middle of the night they were hard to take. Nonetheles they worked so well this is hardly a cause for criticism

Beautiful facility, friendly staff, great location!! The breakfast was minimal, but covered all the basics and had a chef making select entrees, that were fabulous! The only disappointment was it did not have a pool like I thought it said it did. It was hot when we were there, so it would have been refreshing! The staff said most Elements do, but this one does not. Nonetheless, I would stay again our next visit to see our son!

Nice room with kitchenette. Clean. Good complimentary breakfast. Nice overall. Good gym basically. Good laundry room. Accommodating. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom.

Strange double-door partition between me and another room that was paper thin as far as noise was concerned. Kinda loud cleaning in the morning, tapping on your door at 10:30. Odd that guests are not allowed to go see the mountains on the 7th floor deck, unless they pay more to reserve it--seems kinda petty. Limited tv channels. Lack of hot water in the shower in the morning. Dirty hallway carpet. Ice cream sandwiches are old. Overcharged twenty dollars for no reason. Really oddly stained blanket visible when held up.
