Hampton Inn Denver West Federal Center

Location was fabulous and being near Dutch Brothers Coffee a definite bonus. We walked to dinner at the pizza place, too. Staff was friendly. Gym looked great but didn't have time to use. Breakfasts provided a lot of choices - hot and cold and fresh fruit. Seating area for breakfast fabulous and spread out. Cozy beds with different pillows.

TV was fine but hard to navigate menu so didn't watch. Would be great to have a netflix account or hulu available

Tyler at the front desk was very kind in helping us make a reservation last minute. We were there for my Aunt's funeral and the other hotel wasn't safe. He even gave us a 'bereavement rate' that allowed us to afford the Hampton for all the nights we needed.

Everything was really great. Our last morning we were in a hurry to get to the airport, and they didn't open the breakfast door till 5 min after 6AM but that is really nothing to complain about!

Central locations, very clean. I spent a lot of time choosing this hotel, I think there are better options for slightly more.

Not as nice as I expected. Over run with kids sports teams, noisy hallways, and always someone smoking by the entrance and/or pool. Beds wobbly, sofa bed VERY uncomfortable for our teenager. Torn carpet outside our room. Feels dated, though they tried to update recently. Nothing special, though it was clean.

The breakfast was beyond excellent! The coffee available in the lobby all day was very nice as well.

Free WiFi would have been nice for the rate charged. I didn’t want to sign up for the Hilton program to get it. This is seriously my only dislike.

We received a room with accommodations for disabilities, which we hadn’t expected. Since I am blind and have MS, this was very much appreciated. And the final cost was lower than we anticipated also!

Frozen Snicker bars in the snack cooler would have been nice, since it was a very hot weekend (and we got spoiled by the Hampton. Inn in Indianapolis that carried them).

Staff was very friendly. breakfast was good - i appreciated the slight variety between different days. Loved the tea/coffee stand. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Having free parking is superb. Proximity to red rocks is nice.

Very minimal things - Whole wheat/assortment of bagels would be nice! The egg (taco like omelette) with melted cheese inside looked/tasted cheap. Asking if the visit is business/vacation etc at the front desk would be great, as well as offering anything based on the response, e.g. if for vacation, suggest a city map

Great location and awesome staff. Great location if you are looking to see a show at Red Rocks. Lots of restaurants in close proximity. So all around a great place to stay.

The unit has some maintenance and updating that need to be taken care of, but it was clean and was able to rest.

The hotel seemed outdated. Driving up to the hotel, it seems sort of dingy from the outside as well.

Prime & location

The Hampton Inn van was parked under the entrance portico the entire time which caused a problem when someone leaves there car to check in, everyone trying to pick-up or drop off are stuck until the individual checking in movs their car. The Company van needs to be parked somewhere else.
