Sleep Inn & Suites Niantic

The location of this motel was ideal for my needs as it sits right beside the I95 and on the 161, and no, I didn't hear any road noise. We arrived a little later than planned (thanks Boston) but check-in staff are on site 24/7, so no problem and quickly done. All the staff we encountered during our 5 day stay were very pleasant and helpful, including the manager. Room was clean and tidy and bed was comfortable. Shower was big enough for a party! I had no problem with the breakfast selection as I tend to eat lightly in the morning. I did treat myself to a waffle one morning and was very pleased to see that the batter mix was not diluted like some other joints... Very tasty. Coffee, juice, toast, muffins, etc.. All the usual fast breakfast fare and more than adequate for me. If you want to waste money, there's a Starbucks next door. Large car park to front of hotel, and an electric car charging point too.

I'm not keen on foam pillows but understand why hotels use them. Too squidgy - need to be a tad firmer. Also not keen on the wash hand basin in the room as opposed to the bathroom, but no biggy. Car park gets busy at weekends, surprisingly...

Due to everything being booked, this was my best rated option. I paid more than I would have liked to for two days due to it being last minute... I've never stayed at a Sleep Inn before. The rooms were surprisingly very clean! I wipe everything down at any hotel I stay at and the wipes were all clean after wiping down which indicated the room had been cleaned well. The bedding and sheets were very clean and the bed and pillows were comfy. The staff were all very nice. Overall, I would stay again and feel this is a great budget hotel option due to the cleanliness and comfort.

There was what appeared it could be mold on the inside of the drain in room 226 in the shower but the shower and bathroom were very clean other than that. Bathroom sink had a slight drainage issue which I didn't complain about... I just dealt with it. The breakfast was false advertisement and did not meet expectations. Elevator when out for about 20 mins but I was on the 2nd floor and they got it fixed fast.

Walk in shower very important due to hip problems . Beds were pretty much comfortable. Refrigerator available for food items and worked good.

The pool was small and water was cloudy and a little disappointing. Probably Needs the ph adjusted as I owned a pool years ago. Just needs a clarifying agent. Dish tv didn’t always come in good due to weather and internet lagged to get YouTube.

Property was close to I95. CVS, Walgreens, and Stop &Shop nearby. Very, very clean! You could smell it was cleaned. Rooms are small but very clean and seemed updated with newer furniture. Liked the small refrigerator. Had a coffee maker, but their fresh coffee was surprisingly very good. Ironing board and iron plus hairdryer made it very convenient.

Very clean with attention to détails. Very friendly and knowledge able staff about the area. The waffles were so yummy!! Ive never made my own waffles, now im gonna get a maker! It smelled clean it looked inviteing.

We went for a stay cation, to swim in the pool. The heat in the pool was off because it was relined earlier in the week. The pool was cold. The water in the sink backed up when the toilet was flushed.

Was staying for a week, room was missing a microwave but they brought the 2nd day so no biggie. Kids loved the pool area. Staff was very friendly

Juice machine was down and took a while for AC but cooled down the room in time. Water pressure wasn't good. Not much to really complain about

The room was a great size and very clean. The pool area was also kept very clean and well maintained.

One of the reasons I booked with this hotel was the included breakfast. However, they didn’t have many options to choose from.

The breakfast menu was delightful , all you can eat of your choice. One suggestion the hotel should consider to change the menu after two or three days, anyways no complaints for a free breakfast, i was satisfied.

nothing really hotel should consider to change the breakfast menu after two or three days. For example instead of an English muffin after two days changing to bagels is just a thought.

I like that i was clean and had things to do around the town

I hate that they didnt have a microwave in the rooms and the breakfast they need more options. I could save money on buying food out and eat in the room.And the person who was staying up didnt like that the kids were playing.
