Kingsail Resort

The room smelled very clean and was comfortably cool. They had a nice new AC system and freshly painted walls. The bed was extremely comfortable. Large bath space and comfortable parking arrangement. Beautiful tables under the hut to sit by the water and marina. Very considerate to have ice and a cooler to throw fish scraps after cleaning. They allowed us to keep our things in the office until the room was ready.

I found a small bug by the pillows, hair in the bed, dirty floor and bathroom vanity top with what appeared to be soap. The TV image was not clear.

Great location in the middle of the Keys. Large clean room with a kitchenette.Terrific shower. Beautiful pool on the marina.

Screen porch is right on the parking lot.I wouldn't bother getting a room with a porch next time.

Location fantastic great water views, lovely rooms and very clean. Large rooms ours was a 2 bedroom deluxe unit and a kitchen with dining table and chairs. Nice bathroom and very clean. Plenty of restaurants in the resort location and with in driving distance. Fishing Dock on site if your into fishing. Great pool on site and plenty of sun loungers all around the pool deck.

No hair dryer, this was the only thing that was missing from the room, this means a lot to my wife and mite you ladies out there?? WE WOULD STAY AGAIN, GREAT central location for visiting all the Keys, no restaurant on site but there are plenty in the area to the resort. The pool is not heated plus I've never known a hotel pool to be 8ft in the deepest end???? The resort does not offer breakfast but there is an IHOP across the road. Car parking eack room has its own p/space. NO cutlery in the kitchen coffee maker and microwave in unit but no cutlery nor plates or bowls to eat from.

Very clean and fresh smelling rooms! The room was spacious, which was great for a long stay. Excellent staff! I was searching for post card stamps and a place to mail them and the concierge took care of both for me right there! Perfect location, excellent bar and grill, Brutus, 50 yards away! Highly, highly recommend The Kingsail resort!!

The bed was a little past it's prime and we thought it was difficult to regulate the room temperature, either too hot or cold, but, honestly, these were minor issues!

I loved how nice and clean-looking the place was. I had pretty low expectations considering it was a budget accommodation, but we found the bedroom and bathroom to be very clean. The AC worked very well, and the staff provided bottled water since tap water was not safe to drink at the time.We did not have time to enjoy the pool, but it was nice to have it available. The location was perfect near lots of stores and restaurants and felt very safe as well. This was a great budget accommodation. I would highly recommend it.

We wanted to visit different islands in the Florida Keys, so decided to stay in marathon because it was very central (1.5h from Key West, 1.5h from Islamorada, and 2h from Key Largo). The hotel is very nice. the room is like a tiny studio apartment where you have a small kitchen a table and a fridge. some rooms have also a small patio. the room was clean, the furniture new. there was also a nice pool. we stayed there only for 2 nights but there were people staying there for weeks.

On the last day, the cleaning service entered our room while we were sleeping, around 8 am (before check-out time which was at 11 am). They could have checked with reception before. the position is not the best, there are not many restaurants around, and you need to drive to reach them.

We needed a nice hotel that was affordable and allowed us to dock our small fishing boat. Kingsail was just that. Staff was also very nice and accommodating. Rooms were large and felt like little mini suites with their own small kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy upon our arrival. Additionally, if you have little ones they’ll love the hens with their baby chicks that have made the hotel grounds their home. We also had a manatee mama and her calf visit the hotel dock and it was such a cool experience as we offered her some fresh water to drink from the dock hose and she proceeded to drink from it for like 20min Lol. It was a really cool sight and experience! We really recommend this hotel if you have a boat you’d like to dock. We will definitely be returning hopefully next summer.

The room was very clean and the staff were friendly. The check-out was incredibly fast - I just handed the key to a staff member. It was a good value for the money given that the Keys in general are very expensive.

Our parking space did not match the handout diagram so we had to ask where to park. We were redirected to a spot in the front which was fine although it was on somewhat slanted/uneven ground. The AC was on high when we came in so we turned it down to let the room warm up a bit. It was a nice, responsive, and modern AC unit though, which was a positive. The bathroom was a little cramped and the sink was tight, but it worked. I also would recommend having additional blankets in the room as the duvet was pretty thin.

everything was as expected or even better (I think the room looks better than the pictures). They also had some cute lights out at night and location was great, they also offer beach towels if you ask from reception and plenty of towels in the room.

there could had been a shower or screen in the shower, to stop water going everywhere. But the bathroom was so big it wasn't really an issue at all.

Was The staff were extra nice and helped me get the room by the pier and the pool for the right price. My room was nice and clean and looked like it had been recently renovated. Lots of docking space and boat launch if your bringing your own boat and a fish cleaning center. Pool area was nice.

No ice machine so everyone had to go the office to have them fill your bucket from a cooler. They said a new machine had been ordered. Coffee was good but hard to find and was kept in a old wood shed out by the pier. They said a new serving center was coming soon.
