The setting was simply beautiful-right on the water with gorgeous views! There's a bar/restaurant on-site with good food, drink, and live music. The free breakfast was good, too. The room had a lovely ocean view and it was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped with a mini refrigerator and coffee maker. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were warmly welcomed by everyone. We loved our stay and the many extras-swimming pool, beach loungers, hammocks, games-corn hole, and a life-sized chessboard. Kayaks, bicycles, and paddleboards are also available on-site. Don't miss the sunsets-they're magnificent!

We loved the location, room, staff, being able to swim anytime in pool and the use of paddle boards, kayaks and bikes was great.

Breakfast and restaurant facility let's it down. Breakfast was disappointing. All drinks served in plastic. Evening food was tasty, when you finally placed an order. Drinking expensive nice drinks out of plastic isn't pleasant. Seemed very disorganised and run on a shoestring.

The breakfast was adequate. For anyone eating at the on site restaurant the night before, it was probably not needed anyway due to the excellent quality and large quantity!

Not that I didn't like, just even better ifs............ I felt their could have been more information on local attractions, because this place is awesome! As an example the local guys in the bar told me about Robbies, which was excellent. I also researched a couple of the local nature trails and kayaking at Long Key and Curry Hamock State Parks, both of which were brilliant!

The Views , the kayaks,paddle boards, and the bicycle use included.

I thought everything was beautiful but if it was my property I would keep the palms cleaned up pruned up better( remove old dead palms etc) also the area where the Kayaks and paddle boards enter water maybe raking up the brown nasty stuff along sand area there ( stuff the water pushes in) it sometimes has a bad odor. It would look much nicer around the grounds.

Room was fantastic. Could have done with its own sink in the kitchen area rather than having to use the bathroom one, but with the room and view etc, it really didn't matter. Might have if we'd been staying longer, which I wish I had. The bathroom and bedroom were great quality. The balcony faced the sea/bay/Everglades - IE, north. There are also properties on the other side of the road that face south, but I can't review those as didn't see them. This was the most expensive (but not by much) place that we've stayed in during our four night trip south and was by far the best, I wish I'd booked it for the 4 nights as the other have been a disappointment after this.

The breakfast was okay, but not up to the standard of the rest of the resort. It's understandable as space is tight, so the bar at the back doubles as the breakfast location. This means it hasn't got the same facilities as a hotel or resort with its own kitchen, hence all disposable plates and cutlery which isn't too great for the environment, plus they're limited as to what hot food can be provided. Would this stop me from staying there again, absolutely not.

Loved the size of our room. It was more like an apartment! Paddleboards and kayaks were included with the room! Had a lot of fun out on them! The hammocks and pool were great! Breakfast was included with the room!

It would have been nice to get a small discount towards the lunch and dinner food at the restaurant next door. The free breakfast was not anything special. It lacked creativity and presentation and was a bit bland. Also, the kayaks and paddlebord equipment could use a good cleaning and revamping.

We visited Lime Tree from our honeymoon last year and loved it so much we came back for our first anniversary. We let them know that we’d be returning and requested the same room. They were more than happy to offer congratulations and gave us our room. When we arrived it was as beautiful as before and when we walked in to our room, our bed was sprinkled with rose petals and figures made from towels. It was such a sweet gesture and completely unexpected! The property is gorgeous and beautifully maintained. The staff is super friendly. You lounge in the pool as you look out to the ocean, it’s just magical. Oh and we can’t forget about the sunsets….absolutely majestic. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will be returning hopefully for future anniversaries!

What did change from last year was the full continental breakfast including hot options like eggs and sausage was no longer available and needed to be ordered separately and charged to the room. It was a bit pricey for the amount of food served. $12 for 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon and soggy hash browns was a little off putting. I feel they needed more options for cold cereals and yogurts and other options for those who are lactose intolerant :)

Property and room were spotlessly clean. Staff was super - friendly and informative. Yoga with Shivaun was an unexpected treat. Bed was comfortable and A/C was delightfully cold. Good shower. Decent paddleboards and kayaks freely available. Pretty sunset views from the bay side!

Closer to the main drag that I realized from the pictures. A bit in the middle of nowhere - about 20' to Islamorada and longer to Marathon and really no options for restaurants other than the Meh restaurant on site. Loved the available paddle boards but absolutely nothing to see on the bay side of the Key at this location. Continental breakfast was pretty lacking - didn't try to order hot food.

The staff was very helpful and understanding. The sunsets were perfect! The pool was clean and the water warm. The ease of use of the kayaks was good.

Our refrigerator was not working and then they brought us a very small frig that stopped working as well. The staff then brought us a new small frig but we lost a lot of the food we had bought to have our meals in our room. The way the room was described to us on the phone, we thought we were getting a bigger room with a fully functioning kitchen. That was not the case, unfortunately. We had never been to the keys before we we did not realize how far from good restaurants and stores this resort was. But it was relaxing for the most part.

Loved the ocean front view from our kichenette room. Paddle boards and kayaks were great but need more paddles so you can use all of the ones provided. We never had a problem using one when we wanted. The pool was great. Staff was friendly and housekeeping was wonderful. Definitely worth it for the price. The room was nice and spacious. Be prepared to drive to Islamorada for a lot of what you need. They also have a bar, and restaurant. Thank you for making our honeymoon such a wonderful week!
