The location was great, close to everything but in a quiet zone, The view form our room in the 6th floor was great. The room and the whole building and beach were always clean, AC worked great. Breakfast was good , scrambled eggs, omelets, biscuits and gravy, pastries, bagels, cereal, orange juice, and coffee. Cold water, cookies and oranges available all day at the lobby. Laura was always polite, kind and professional making sure everything was the best for our stay.

The restroom had the sink inside, I like the sink and the shower to be separated from the toilet so different people can use it at the same time with privacy. No microwave for popcorn :(. The price, I would have stay longer if it was cheaper.

We liked the location of the hotel. It was within walking distance to the restaurants and "night life," but far enough away that we didn't hear all the noise. Loved that the soap, lotion, shampoo, etc. were full sized and attached to the walls. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and were given a small bag of chocolates. Thank you! The breakfast was delicious. Parking was adequate. The pool was warm. Staff was friendly. Everything was clean!

The refrigerator was noisy.

I can not say enough about this hotel and our stay here . First let me say check in was so easy but let me tell u how great it is we came to our room and i had a box of choc w. Card for my birthday from the holiday inn . The staff was so sweet BREAKFAST was the best and the heated pool was over the top . I dont have one thing bad to say about this hotel im so sad to have to leave tomm. . But THANK YOJ HOLIDAY INN EXSPRESS ur the best.

literally, everything else. the breakfast buffet was fantastic and they change it up daily. the staff are all superb, even when dealing with cranky customers (we witnessed this twice). the views are MAGNIFICENT. the rooms are so comfortable. i was prepared to be disappointed in the room because website photos almost never truly represent reality, but i'm here to tell you that those photos don't do the room or property justice. we had our choice of hotels and i am so glad that we picked this one. it was perfect in pretty much every way.

just a little pricier than we'd have liked, especially since affirm makes you pay through them to use even their "0% interest" special. their price was $130 more than if we'd used booking, directly, but we had no choice on the payment options. ☹️

Loved the free breakfast & the coffee was amazing. Pool is great & the ocean right outside is wonderful, we walked down to it every day. There’s big waves & a bunch of seaweed/dirt in the water that sticks to your hair & clothes so beware of that especially if you have long or curly hair. It also depends on the day & what time you go, it’s usually not too bad & it comes out in the shower or by continuously brushing out your hair. We only had it bad one day because the waves were washing up all the dirt to the shore but we went the next day and the water was clear again. They have a “borrow bin” with floats & toys to share among the kids/adults which i thought was really nice and also a rinsing station that you can clean yourself with before entering the lobby & to rinse off any equipment that may have sand on it. Room is maintained clean & no issues at all regarding that. The balcony view is amazing & comfortable to be out there for hours getting fresh air especially at night. It’s a great place to stay at & not just a place to sleep at. I definitely recommend this hotel over others. This was our second time coming to Pensacola & we stayed at a cheaper hotel last time but had a bad experience so this hotel was a lot pricier but definitely worth it if you’re looking for better or just good quality especially for your first time. We stayed for 6 nights & will be coming back next year. It’s about a 2 minute drive from all the good restaurants, stores, entertainment, and another beach or they also have bikes you can rent as well. Also free parking!

Only thing i didn’t like at times was the AC in our room, i slept on the bed right next to it and it was either too cold or id wake up in the middle of the night sweating because it would only come on every 5-10 minutes. Wasn’t that big of a deal because you can manually change it but i tried not to because of the other people in the room. The blankets didn’t help much & just made me sweat more so id just sleep with the blanket half on half off but that was just me.

The location, facilities and view were FANTASTIC!

STOP USING COVID AS AN EXCUSE NOT TO SERVICE ROOMS DAILY! WE ALL KNOW you use it as a cover to cut staff and increase profits! When we are paying well over $250/nite for a room we deserve 1st class service, daily cleaning, and BACON DAILY on breakfast buffett!!!

Great Breakfast. Guest and staff are very friendly. Pool sunny to mid-day and shady in late afternoon. Room had plenty of space. Beautiful beach and view. Hotel in walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Requested walk-in shower for elderly mother during reservation and didn't receive. Tub was very slick and floor. Pool umbrella pulled table over fence on windy day. On different occasions (twice), mother was hit by pool umbrellas (they need to be anchored). Also, thick bushes on pool side causes a blind spot in the pool.

We love how it’s walking distance to the beach. It helps so much whenever we have littles and have to bring all the things to the beach. The breakfast is splendid and the rooms are always so nice and clean! This is our second year to stay here and we can’t wait to be back for our third year next year!

There is nothing negative to be said regarding our stay.

Breakfast was wonderful! Hot and fresh always. I loved that every room is actually in the beach. It’s a nice quiet part of that area which is what I desperately needed! But it was also close enough to all of the local attractions.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like! I absolutely loved my stay. I’m looking forward to going back again next year!

-I had to leave and go to a laundromat one morning because there isn’t a laundry room for guests to use! I’ve stayed at a Holiday Inn Express previously and there were machines to use with my debit card. it was extremely inconvenient to go to the laundromat.
