We loved this inn, in a beautiful old Victorian on the edge of Forsyth park. The park itself is one of the most wonderful city parks we have seen-- it is worth the extra money to have such a great amenity literally right across the street. In addition, the location right on the DOT shuttle line made it so easy to get around Savannah - we only rented a car for one day to go out to Tybee Island. The porch -- just fabulous, for breakfast or chatting with guests at the happy hour. The room we had was a little small, but fine -- very comfortable bed. OH, and the breakfasts were delicious - we got to enjoy them for four days - every day was special.

For the price, I thought the room was a little small, and the bathroom could be updated. There was not much room to put clothes away, like a dresser, and the closet was tiny.

All staff was friendly and helpful... they went beyond what was expected. The breakfasts were excellent.... so so delicious. It was beautiful sitting out on the piazza looking down at a beautiful view of Forsythe Park. The room was spacious and comfortable yet very unique. It was elegantly decorated to suit the age of the home. Snacks in the late afternoon and dessert, coffee and tea in the evenings etc was readily available. It was great to have sweet tea and ice water available at all times. The location was perfect. It was a nice walk to all the sites, shopping and restaurants. The squares and Forsythe Park was gorgeous. Our stay was so good we will be back. We can't wait.

The mattress probably needs updating soon. Everything else was wonderful and exceeded all expectations. Thank you to the wonderful staff.

Love the quaintness and the big porch. A wonderful place to enjoy an afternoon cocktail or morning breakfast. Beautiful Forsyth Park across the street. Staff were very friendly and accommodating! The breakfast, happy hour and evening cofee and sweets were an additional treat. We stayed in room 8 which was their smallest room but, was plenty large enough for 2 and we had a bonus private balcony outside our room. The location was within walking distance to most areas of interest. We will definitely be back!!

the location is perfect! love the architecture and original features absolutely beautiful love the front porch for breakfast and coffee or in the evening. the bed was very comfortable. DeWayne was exceptional super nice and Johnny on the spot for anything we needed. Gary is super nice and fun to be around however lacked follow through on 3 different requests.

Gary never called back or checked back on 3 different occasions he said he would check on a request and call back in a few minutes or get something for us in the restaurant and we never heard back.

Simply outstanding. Remodeled historical house. Five stars breakfast, tea and snacks served at 5, evening home made cakes at 8PM. View to the park. Bravo!

Really nothing. one need to understand houses need to stay true to their original shape and details. so single windows might not be a sound proof as double glass modern windows. Not a problem especially as our room was perfectly maintained.

Hotel was beautifully decorated. It was elegant and suited the period building perfectly. Extra touches such as wine and hors d'oeuvres at 6pm and late night cake and coffee. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed . Staff were really helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

By the time we got back to our room about 7pm all the complimentary wine etc had gone! Otherwise it was all perfect.

Loved the location, perfect to get around. Free shuttle right outside the door. The property was stunning with beautiful court yard, large front porch with rocking chairs to enjoy an evening cocktail or morning coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the gourmet breakfasts, afternoon wine & cheese and evening desserts & coffee. We only stayed 2 nights and have a yearning to go back!!!!

The staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast and other food offered were excellent. the common areas looking over the park were welcoming and well used. They even left a specially made piece of vegan carrot cake for my son for supper.

The room was cluttered. Beds too soft and saggy. The shower set up was bizarre and the exhaust fan so noisy we couldn’t use it.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The inn is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in room 10, which was very spacious, comfortable, and quiet. This is one of the most comfortable beds I've ever had in any form of hotel! This room also had access to an alternate exit which meant we could come and go without going through the main entrance as well. The food was wonderful and varied every day. Day 1 breakfast was yogurt with dried fruit and granola, scrambled eggs, ham, asparagus, tomatoes, and skillet potatoes. Day 2 breakfast was fruit (grapes, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries), pancakes with pecans and a caramel sauce, and sausage. Hors d'oeuvres included two items daily with items like crudite and spinach dip, seafood crescent, spicy pasta salad, and pimento cheese bruschetta. We never had the evening desserts but the one day we saw them it included cookies and cupcakes. Having breakfast and hors d'oeuvres on the porch was just perfect. It's a very inviting space with tables and rocking chairs. The inn is located directly across the street from Forsyth Park and the porch faces the park. The location could not be more perfect. The free transportation shuttle around town (DOT) picks up directly outside the inn. Many locations we wanted to visit were easily within walking distance. We had no difficulty finding free parking on streets surrounding the inn.

Hotel location was fabulous, right at the centrepoint of Forsyth park. The house itself is stunning with a large breakfast balcony which is situated along the frontage of the house and elevated above the sidewalk. A wonderful way to start your day! The breakfasts are superb, among the best I've experienced in the USA. At the rear of the hotel is an enclosed garden area which is accessed via a small gate. This area is very attractive and is an excellent place to enjoy a nightcap before retiring.

Parking! Although there is plenty of free parking on all the streets around the hotel the city cleansing dept does make things difficult on certain nights due to their policy of only allowing parking on one side of the road. Because of this, parking spaces are at a premium overnight on TUES. & WED. Despite the hotel's manager assuring me that it would be ok to park against the direction of the traffic flow for that side I received a $30 citation for doing so.
