Stunningly tasteful and extraordinarily comfortable accommodation. It is characterful in all the right ways and absolutely none of the wrong ways you sometimes get at ‘Victorian’ B&Bs. Friendly and attentive hosts Michael and Gerald made us feel very welcome in their home but gave us appropriate distance and freedoms. The room was superbly comfortable. Breakfast was great fun and a delightful feast. Good location - a short and pleasant walk into the historic centre. Ok - it ain’t cheap. But we’d return in a heartbeat. Just book this place. You will not regret it. Memorably excellent.

Leaving it. We’d love to come back!

A perfect location in a beautiful home with knowledgeable and friendly hosts who live onsite. The house is inviting, the breakfast is phenomenal and the gardens and fountain are so peaceful. We stayed in the bottom floor of the carriage house which opens to the gardens. The king bed was so plush and comfortable and both side tables were equipped with extra plugs and usb ports for all our electronics. We had our own kitchenette with a small table for two and a lounging chair for reading and a gorgeous chandelier. The bathroom had an oversized rain shower. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I should have asked for a second suitcase stand but I kept forgetting as we had so much to do and see in Savannah.

This b n b is stunning! It's within walking distance of mate factor, kroger, and several points of interest. It's a half hours walk to the riverfront but you walk right through the heart of the historic district. It's also 10 minutes from Bonaventure and 30 from Tybee. A gr at location and the staff are so personable and sweet.

While the house is a bit distant and therefore requires some travel times for walking tourists it is still close enough to everything by car and bus if you want a quicker experience. As someone who walks a lot myself this wasn't an issue at all. The only negative in this case is that they are doing some renovation on the house, while I didn't have an issue with this I could see how others might.

We had a wonderful experience at Thomas Weihs House. The owners have modernized it with all the comforts of home without losing the charm of a beautiful 1800s Victorian. Our room (and bathroom) were amazingly spacious and very comfortable. We were worried about the air conditioning in an older home in the heat of the South but no worries here. Michael's breakfasts were delicious and changed daily, avoiding any monotony over a multi-day stay. Any time we needed anything (extra towels, an umbrella) the hosts were there to help. We also loved the location -- just 1 block or so off Forsyth Park and the free DOT bus to the river area. But it was certainly close enough to walk to anywhere we wanted to go in town. Plus, it was across from a grocery in case we wanted any additional nibbles. We also loved how quiet the house and the neighborhood was. We never heard any other guests. It felt like a true escape.

I am not sure there was anything we didn't like.

Our hosts, Michael and Gerald, are superb hosts. From our arrival to departure they made the stay comfortable with a genuine interest in making us feel at home! The cooked to order breakfast was just another superb detail that will stand out for us, your own private chef/wow, capable, caring, kind and this European transplant can cook (hint I am a professional chef). The main house is superbly appointed and offers period rich details you have to seek to find. Just amazing work, we stayed in the carriage house that has yet to get appointed to the perfection the main house is. There is nothing not to love about the carriage house, and knowing Michael and Gerald already are working on updates to the private, warm and cozy carriage house we highly recommend the carriage house. Plus that may yield you private parking which was my original goal. Having an fully appointed super market in walking distance was a great surprise, and the access to Forsyth park is perfect. The insight about the town came easy and with charm from both hosts, i am not an BB expert but this couple filled all of our check boxes. Thank you,

That both our allergies kicked in as we arrived in warm and beautiful Savanah was a bummer. Would a stronger WIFI be desirable, sure, but did it cause any heartburn NO way.

Really nice room/ building. A nice location next to the biggest parc. The house owners are nice people and they can help you with your questions. I think we dont visit savannah again, because were from germany and would visit other citys instead. But! IF we would come to savannah again, we would book youre place again.

The only thing i missed a bit, was, that we couldnt open the windows. But thats nothing!

The host were super friendly and exhibited southern hospitality at all times. The house is breath-taking and the decor makes you feel like you stepped back in time with 21st century amenities. The outdoor veranda displayed a well-manicured lawn with beautiful foliage. Breakfast was extremely delicious everyday. We felt like part of their family during our visit and will definitely visit them whenever we come to Savannah.

Absolutely nothing!!

Beautifully renovated property evoking the height of Savannah’s prosperous past. Quiet location, conveniently located for Forsyth Park and 20 minutes walk from Downtown. Michael was a very welcoming host. Delicious breakfast.

Nothing really. just a couple of suggestions to make it even better: - I personally found the pillows to be very high. A choice of pillows would promote a better night’s sleep. - consider adding coffee and tea making facility to the utility area on the first floor.

The Thomas Weihs Haus was absolutely charming and lovely! This Victorian Bed & Breakfast is elegant, exceptionally clean and comfortable, and furnished with so many gorgeous antiques! When we arrived, at 8:30 in the evening, Micheal greeted us out front with a warm welcome and helped us carry our luggage to our prepared room. At night, the house was quiet and our rest assured. The daily breakfast menu was professionally presented on a menu and delivered to our room the night before. The breakfast presentation was as creative as it was delicious... ABSOLUTELY amazing! The breakfast options ranged from Traditional American, Southern Comfort, to European Delight...the Austrian Pastry with powdered sugar and fresh apple sauce was our FAVORITE, a "must try" in my opinion! What a wonderful stay we had and the perfect "pairing" for a visit to historic old town Savannah!

Nothing, the stay was perfect!

The accomadations were comfortable and Michael's breakfast each morning was delcious! We thoughly enjoyed our visit to Savannah.

Over all we noticed that the sidewalks in town are in need of repair, it can be a trip hazard in spots. The free trolley was non existant at some stops on the weekend.
