The service at the small breakfast cafe on the first floor

I liked the location for walking to restaurants and tourist destinations. I was there for a conference and the conference center was nice. The bed was comfortable. The room was really clean and the housekeeping service was great. I liked that despite the small room size, the space was laid out really well.

My biggest complaint is that the heating/cooling system in the room was extremely loud. The room was a bit too small for two people, so I would have had to pay for a bigger room to bring my spouse. The hotel lobby bar and cafe were extremely expensive for slightly above average food/beverages. Getting around the hotel and conference center was a bit confusing because there were two elevators that stopped at a different set of floors and the conference center escalators skipped floors. I also heard that the food provided at the conference center was terrible.

location is great. ideally located on magnificent mile. short walk to river, navy pier, beach (oak street, ohio street), millennium park, macys etc. worlds famous pizza is under 5 mins walk away. ln evening lobby is lively place. parking is near by and hotel guest gets discounted rates. you can use valet service as well. lot of sanitizers like in lobby, near elevators are placed for customer use.

i asked for kettle in the room and it was provided after the third request. everything else was good. breakfast was just park. could have been better.

Airport was a 25 minute drive away. Check in was very smooth and the check in gentleman was very friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly adequate for our 2 day stay. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The view from the room on the 37th floor was amazing.The Downtown Marriott is centrally located with easy access for sightseeing, restaurants and bars.

There was a 20 dollar a day hotel tax that is apparently there in the small print however I hadn't spotted it. The bar closed at 10.30pm meaning we couldn't have a night cap with friends.

The property was clean and gorgeous! All the employees were kind and helpful.

There wasn’t anything in particular about the property that I didn’t like. It was more so the pricing of a one night stay, which I believed was over priced. It may be due to Taylor Swift being in town, but I don’t believe any hotel stay is worth paying over $800 for one night. All hotels were a minimum of $800 a night in the area, which is crazy!

To start, I am super picky about hotels. I research for WEEKS before I go anywhere. This hotel has exceeded all my expectations. Absolutely amazing location. AMAZING king bed room on a high floor with a stunning view. Great environment and amenities. Cleaning service was awesome always stocked extra towels. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be going back!

Location, facilities, plentiful elevators (and fast!), we love that the hotel offers a credit to offset new city fees—that is a big plus! Rooms are spacious and well-maintained. Harvest breakfast was great, and that space is a very comfortable place to start the day. All staff members are welcoming and helpful.

The location was perfect. We were in walking distance of restaurants we plan to visit as well as plenty of shopping.

My parking was included with my Booking.com package. According to Booking.com, I was instructed to reach out to the hotel for further instructions. I emailed the hotel in addition to making several phone calls that went unanswered. I was finally able to get answers after using a parking app to pay for parking and arriving to the hotel. The hotel representative was able to tell me how to get a refund for parking. It was disappointing I couldn't reach the hotel or Booking.com for answers.. The frequent ambulances and other emergency vehicle sirens blaring throughout the night made sleeping a bit difficult.
