The staff at the reception was exceptionally helpful, attentive, and kind. Hat off to Mark and Sian (I think that's how her name is spelled) who were particularly hospitable and make sure we were taken care of. Additionally, the room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed, the breakfast was very nice, and the location was excellent, right in the center of the city. The cherry on top is the historical indoor heated swimming pool. Such a hidden gem! We will definitely be staying here again.

The rooms are not very well sound-proofed so we could hear the family next door to us, which was a bit bothersome (but manageable with white noise). We also felt that the quality of toilet paper and tissue was not en par with a 4-star hotel such as the Intercontinental.

Location was fantastic. We walked to the Bean, shopping, food all with ease. The pool was awesome, they had a movie night in the pool and provided popcorn and lemonade. The continental breakfast was fantastic. Hotel had lots of explore within itself.

There was a low humming/buzz coming from the TV/wifi/something. It drove me nuts. The guy at checkout said it was their new "mini bar" system that hadn't been fixed yet. The room description said it had a couch, there was no couch but 2 chairs.

Great location, pretty safe area. Would stay there again.

Weren’t given breakfast vouchers at check-in so minor drama the next morning. Checked out early on the last day 0630 - asked if we could have breakfast in the room instead of restaurant as it didn't open until 7 and told no - shame as we wouldn’t have spent the $40+ each on room service

Loved everything about this Hotel, had the privilege of viewing most of the old rooms on floors 2-6, was even offered a private tour by a security guard..Grand Ballroom was booked all weekend unfortunately no biggie..staff was amazing..Omg the pool, so beautiful. Location is perfect to anywhere you want to go..I'm already planning another quick getaway weekend trip back. I most definitely will be a returning guest..Thank You for an amazing weekend.

Perfect location for walking to all of the shops, Navy Pier and Millenium Park, all riverside activities.

The barstaff at Michael Jordan's steakhouse seemed overwhelmed with the number of visitors on the night I was there. The wait for a drink was extremely long. They seem understaffed and the bartenders did not really go out of their way for anyone.

The staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. The room was clean and well stocked. The gym was clean and well staffed. The pool was beautiful. The door man was friendly and welcoming. The flowers at the front of the hotel were exquisite.

The bed was not very comfortable. The TV controller did not work well, maybe batteries were low.

The Hotel was Amazing but Booking.com was AWFUL! I had a problem with my first room but couldn’t get you guys on the line for hours so, I went to the front desk of the hotel and The extremely Nice night Manager Sam Totally helped me

I could Never reach Booking.com for Help!😡😡😡 after All the money I’d spent with them!

The staff at this hotel are the nicest I have ever encountered. Every single person was so kind and helpful. We had to change our plans a couple of times due to unforeseen circumstances, and the staff went above and beyond to help accommodate.

My only comment for suggestion- be more forthcoming with personal hygiene items in the bathroom. Very tight on shampoo, soap, wash clothes, toilet paper, etc….

The location was excellent as well as the staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable and cleaned daily. The checking in/out process was fast and very convenient. The door men were always welcoming the guests and standing out in the cold weather with nice smile (special thanks to Will)

The location was excellent, art deco building, especially South Tower completed in 1929 and the pool was amazing, breakfast with voucher was great, staff super friendly, rooms clean and comfortable.

During the ten days of our stay, there was an unexpected change of open buffet breakfast three mornings, which we thought must have been due to Easter vacation of the kitchen staff???
