Fairfield Inn and Suites Chicago Downtown/ Magnificent Mile

I loved the friendliness of the staff and the location of the hotel as well as the cleanliness of our room and the lobby.

The mattress and pillows were not good at all, we had back pain throughout our stay. They need to be upgraded. Breakfast was good but could have more fruit selections.

it was very close to things to see in the area. Riverwalk was walking distance and Mag Mile was right around the corner

I didn’t like my view at all from my room. I heard the garbage/recycling trucks outside the window and no sunlight

Location was very good, Room was great in size and comfort, cleaning was good. Breakfast was excellent. staff were friendly and helpful

The bathroom door was hitting the toilet seat when it opens and closes!

The location of the Fairfield in was great. It was near restaurants, the subway lines and was centrally located. The breakfast was outstanding with the coffee being especially great. The room was big with a nice comfortable bed. An overall good experience.

The heat was too much at times and we had to get up several times to adjust it. Too many covers with the heat turned up to full blast. The bathroom needed a few minor repairs but was overall decent. The doors and walls needed more soundproofing since we could sometimes hear our neighbors.

Nice exterior architecture.

the breakfast area could be nicer. It’s practically the only space for recreation, besides the lobby. it could get some board games, nicer furniture (maybe something lounge-y too), or a more efficient layout. it is uncomfortable to enter n the middle of the line.

The location was great. Close to everything. Check in was easy and quick. (so was check out). The daily bfast was great too. Overall a very positive experience.

Pricing is always tricky. It would have been nice to find a better deal as we paid over $1,500 for a few nights. But not horrible in comparisson with other similar hotels in the general area.

Location was perfect. Everything was close by. Shopping was great! We even went to a festival on State Street that didn't seem too far from hotel. We did use a Lyft which was not too expensive! Great breakfast!

Well, my room was cooling well at night. It was a little difficult regulating the air condition during the day. My other family members in another room had the same issue. Someone did come to help their issue. It was strange that there were 2 operating AC systems that could be regulated. One had to be shut down so the other can be regulated manually or that's what I understood. Otherwise, staff was very helpful.

Breakfast was excellent, location to metra train is bit far away but close to stores and other things. The cleaning lady did wonderful job. The staff were really helpful. The solid floor was nice than carpet floor. The room was big.

The coffee ground tray was missing, the usb charger in the desk was broken. The exhaust shower was not working properly and made the bathroom was really steamy. This is all minor thing but it would be nice if it worked or was available. I also hope there was swimming pool. It would be nice if the bedroom was with two queens bed instead of double bed.

I like the people the workers the one whit the Braids at the front desk he was so delightful and friendly and helpful he need a raise great excellent worker and for him to walk on feet and catch the bus to work he is phenomenal excellent marvelous terrific Anna overwhelming with nice things to say I will stay again
