Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile

Loved the location and the room layout and how close everything was in walking distance to the hotel. If the hot tub wouldn’t have been cold I would have rated everything exceptional as that was the reason I chose this hotel in the first place. Room was comfortable and quiet and staff was friendly and helpful.

The hot tub was cold, like the temperature of the pool cold. I booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub as there were not many others in the vicinity that had hot tubs. When I told the staff they just said they would send someone to look at it, but didn’t provide any additional info or options for us. I could have booked another hotel for a lot less cost if I knew we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the hot tub during our stay so that was very disappointing to us. We checked it both days we were there and there was no change in the temperature.

The Hotel is amazing, but I have two mistakes when I arrive, They gave me a 15$ off in breakfast, and I also asked about the whole price for breakfast, and he answer me is 15$, i thought is weird, because in website is 34$, for make sure, I asked for the staff/ receptionist , if this is a 15$ for me and my sister, and he answer yes, for the first day, and in the morning I went to take my breakfast they said its 29,00 per person, but we have 15$off, I asked again if its for each, me and my sister, the guy answer yes, he speak Spanish, I asked for the waitress and she answer the same, when I paid, the lady charge 60,00 for the breakfast and told me , the 15$off is just for restaurant, no for the breakfast. Mistakes information. But, the hotel is very good. Next time I will prefer eat outside the hotel.

The room was great, the high floor was fantastic, it was very centrally located, close to everything. train line, divvy bikes, walking distance, in the heart of the Magnificent Mile, John Hancock Building, Willis Tower, Grant Park, Maggie Daley Park, Chicago Cultural Center, truly beautiful architecture. Chicago is a beautiful city. Also the very lovely & gracious cleaning woman named Sharon. She was truly caring, pleasant & went above & beyond. She was the epitome of graciousness! Thank-you Sharon!

The only thing that was a little annoying was the fact that you had to catch 2 elevators to get to your room. Also, the parking fee was ridiculous! $65 on top of everything else; I searched & found a much cheaper rate less than 100 feet away for $35 a day, so that worked out even better. Also, since this hotel is right across the street from Northwestern University Hospital, there are Ambulances at all hours, so you will hear sirens at all hours. Other than that, the hotel was great. Oh and the very awful & stingy cleaning woman named Graciela who refused to give me any cleaning supplies but instead told me to "call down to the lobby!" As if they were her own personal supplies to give!

Clean rooms. Great bar and restaurant. Cute hotel. Great location that is near everything. Outstanding staff. Bonus---Starbucks in the hotel!

The staff was amazing! They were so friendly and kind. I have to give a special thanks to Sammie and the Valet team! They made our stay even better!

The location is prime! The hotel is clean and has everything one needs to enjoy Chicago!

This will sound funny but the toilet flushes are LOUD- especially inconvenient when you have to go to the bathroom at night! Also, changing 2 elevators (one to the lobby then the other to guest rooms was a bit inconvenient). Lastly, the hotel provided us with a pack n play instead of a real crib with no proper mattress and was small- my daughter was very uncomfortable 😣

The location was fantastic! We could walk everywhere we wanted to go while we were in Chicago for a long weekend.

The only downside to this hotel was the proximity to the hospital right across the street. We ended up hearing ambulance sirens quite frequently throughout our stay and it was really background noise that could be tuned out except for at night when we were trying to sleep. My sister had brought a white noise machine, so that sort of helped but I'm a light sleeper, so I still woke up on occasion when the sirens would be close by.

the hotel was amazing :) the staff was very friendly and the hotel restaurant/bar was awesome. the location is great as well, right in the middle of downtown and close to a lot of nice restaurants. wish we could have stayed longer to explore more sights :)

the pool was a little small but still nice :) there is no parking for the hotel so you have to park in one of the parking garages downtown and we ended paying $98 for two nights of parking :(

I like the location and valet parking and I felt safe

I didn't like how the staff was rude and not all the staff but the manger was very rude and I didn't like how checking out getting ur car back from valet was a half hour wait to get ur car back and the elevator checking out it's a major issue I had to take the stairs with suit case it was a pain

room was well set up with comfy beds. We booked last minute after an unexpected visit to the hospital across the street.

It was very expensive for what it is. Not value for money although it met our needs after 9hrs in the emergency room. We ate in the bar area and was surprised when my plate was taken away and bill brought even though my sister was clearly not halfway through her meal. She felt hurried and as a result we took her food back to the room

I like the updated hotel. The rooms were really nice. The location was the best because we were in walking distance to everything.

We arrived at 2:45pm. They told us our room wasn't ready and that they would text us. They never texted us. It was only after everyone that checked in after us got their keys that we went back to ask if our room was ready. If you are going to have a texting system, make sure it works.
