Hotel is located at at State & 26 Street. One bus on State Street, with bus stop 100m away from the hotel, takes you to the tourist attractions at Navy Pier. Virtual kitchen located about 400m away - place your order, walk over and pick up. Exceptionally convenient and cost effective. Staff was exceptional. One day, my family and I needed to get on the bus to go to the tourist attactions. The hotel could not make change for the bill that I had. So, the manager personally gave me $7 so that our family could get on the bus and we could have our money broken into smaller bills at the tourist attraction. EXCEPTIONAL service which exceeded my expectations. Upon reading the various reviews in advance of booking, I did not know what to expect. But the hotel was great. Room was large, clean and well furnished. Shower always worked. Soap and shampoo dispenser were always full. And room was cleaned daily and very well by the cleaning staff. I would highly recommend this hotel. We enjoyed our sta.

Not much.

Location was awesome, specially if you love Asian food, China town is less than a mile away. I was a solo traveler and I felt safe at this hotel at all times. I slept so good, first thing I was greeted with entering my room was the smell of clean, it was a little cold but that’s how I like it, other than that you can always turn off the AC. I had everything I needed, I enjoyed the showers and big tub. Front desk clerks were nice and helped me in anything I needed, specially this young man, he was so very kind!, and accommodating. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. There is a coffee machine in the room, coffee was good, rooms are very spacious, I had a very peaceful stay.

The room was a little dark, one of the lamps didn’t work but that was very minor to me. I loved my stay.

You cannot beat the combination of location and price. The area is safe, and the hotel is a short walk from Chinatown and the most iconic CTA station in Chicago (Cermak-McCormick). This is perfect if you're having to drive into Chicago for your stay - park in one of their two spacious lots and walk/use the train to get to downtown. Don't overthink it. The train system is incredibly intuitive and safe, and you won't have to stress about Chicago traffic/parking. The rooms are clean. The sheets and towels are fresh. Met all expectations. I was excited to book this hotel because the only negative reviews were about "rude" staff, which are normally bs reviews anyways. I interacted with multiple members of staff and a security guard while checking out, and everyone was incredibly kind. 10/10 service - attentive, quick, and kind. Also, checkout is SUPER easy - just drop your keycard in the checkout box on the counter and leave!

After reading other reviews I was worried and had low expectations and was plesantly suprised. We were here on a Saturday and there were plenty of open spots in the parking lot so that we could come and go as we pleased. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

One of the walls in the bathroom was crumbling onto the floor. The water pressure was bad and the water in the tub/ shower did not drain. There was a roku attached to the TV but no way to plug it into the wall. There is nothing right there to get supplies or food but it was close to Chinatown.

I liked that the front desk staff was very responsive whenever I placed a call. The room was very spacious and well-stocked. The air was working perfectly, and the room didn't have that old, dingy smell to it that most older hotels and motels have. The TV selection was great too. I loved that I could log into my streaming accounts to watch tv. The wifi had strong connection as well.

I didn't like that the elevator closest to my room was out of service. I had to walk all the way around to the other end of the hotel to catch an elevator. Also, my original room's tv system wasn't set up and was missing equipment. However, the accommodated me and moved me to another room easily, which was much appreciated.

Staying in Chicago is always an adventure. South Loop exceeded my expectations. The fact that it had free parking was amazing. Typically, you always have to pay for parking. The room was better than I expected for the price. Most rooms around Chicago charge for parking and were double the price. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. The room was big, and the beds were comfortable

I wouldn't say it is necessary bad, but the bathtub was very deep which made it difficult for husband who has issues with his hip to get into take a shower. It would be an awesome tub to take bath in.

Free parking was convenient & helpful! I was able to park right underneath the window of my room. The room was spacious, with a closet, full bath, and comfortable beds. 20 min walk to my conference at McCormick Place West. 10 min walk to delicious restaurants in Chinatown. 5 min drive to Illinois Tech/college area with funky indy breweries and eateries in nearby Bridgeport. I felt safe walking across the freeway overpass to Cermak Ave., etc. by myself.

Before booking, I read reviews saying the hotel water wasn't hot, and that it was too noisy to sleep. This was not true in my experience (Thurs.-Sat. night). Colleagues who stayed closer to downtown/Grant Park reported audible traffic and pedestrians late at night that interfered with their sleep. This hotel is located near a hospital, in a formerly industrial area that is becoming gentrified. I found no convenience stores or gas stations nearby. Parking in the courtyard felt safer than the fenced lot, but the entry door was usually locked/inaccessible from the outside, so I had to walk around to get inside the hotel. Staff members were always friendly & helpful. I would stay again.

The Asian & Black Lady working the front desk were the sweetest & Most professional staff I’ve ever experienced at a hotel in Chicago! You can tell they genuinely like to help people which is a rarity these days! They went above & Beyond for us ! It was a great find for the price and everything it included made it so worth it to stay there. We had an event at McCormick place and this hotel was at a convenient location being near Chinatown as well! We left behind some items and they were willing to not only go back and check for the left behind items but they nicely bagged them for us as well! Will definitely stay here again !

The lighting in our room could be a little better but it wasn’t a deal breaker as I still enjoyed my stay!

Value for price was excellent! A very good deal for a comfortable quiet room in Chicago. Room had Lots of space, very clean. Would stay again. Friendly staff. Very nice lobby. Great location, very easy to get to downtown by car. Convenient to Soldier Stadium.

Staff were friendly and pleasant but not very knowledgeable about nearby restaurants and transportation options. Room was clean but hallways seemed a bit dodgy. Room door did not close readily, had to be double-checked for closure. Nevertheless, would definitely book again.

Due to the price and availability, I was scared when I booked this room, so my expectations were low. The room was pretty large, had a sitting area, and a mini fridge. Everything was very clean and exceeded my expectations! The beds were comfortable. The value was amazing. Close to Chinatown. FREE PARKING!!

Not enough negatives to make me book somewhere else for the price. Free breakfast would be a plus, and the location could be better. It would be nice if it was within walking distance of more.
