Good breakfast with hot and cold options available - yoghurt, fruit, cereals, nuts, pastries, eggs, flapjacks, etc. Close enough to the museum campus - about 2km walk - and the lake. One ,may need to use transport options to get into the loop and near north of the city. The gym and pool are great!

Reception staff are efficient but not friendly.

The property is in a prime location with convenient parking on the premises at reasonable rates. The check-in&out process was smooth and easy. This was one of the many surprises I planned for my spouse’s birthday weekend; I requested the suite with the “City View”. The Hyatt did one better…the views of the city AND the lake from our suite gave us a new appreciation of Chicago, my hometown! Chicago is picturesque especially at night. The 2-way traffic lanes inside the parking garage was a little challenging. Once safely parked, I stayed parked! #Thank goodness for taxis and Uber!

STAFF PROFESSIONAL, YET FRIENDLY. EVERYONE HELPFUL, ESP. HOUSEKEEPING AND MARKET STAFF. LOVED THE VIEW ROOM 2705. THE LOCATION IS GREAT ALSO-LOVELY FOR WALKING, CLOSE TO THE LAKE, GREAT RESTAURANTS. EVERYTHING IN WORKING ORDER, NO PROBLEMS. WELL, THERE WAS ONE, BUT IT WAS HANDLED IMMEDIATELY AND HANDLED WELL. I VISIT CHICAGO OFTEN FOR SKY GAMES; WOULD LOVE TO STAY HERE ALL THE TIME-BUT IT IS TOO COSTLY FOR THAT. LOVE THE NOON CHECKOUT. REALLY APPRECIATED BEING ABLE TO PAY A REASONABLE FEE TO CHECK IN EARLY. I VISITED THE 31ST STREET BEACH AND LOVED IT. I WALKED DOWN AND BACK.

THERE WAS NOTHING I DID NOT LIKE.

When we checked in around 8:30 pm, the front desk gentleman was kind enough to provide us with feminine pads since we didn't have a chance to stop at a drug store. It was even more appreciated when we realized there was a CVS vending machine in the lobby that he could have easily directed us to use. Instead he went the extra step to get us 3 boxes of pads and put them in a discreet laundry bag to bring up to our room. That's customer service! ✨🙏✨

My trip was Friday thru Sunday. While their web site stated a restaurant was no longer open, there were two other facilities in the hotel. However it appeared neither was open and again the website did state they might not be if there was a low occupancy. The hotel does have a snack shop which was open with pre-made breakfast fast foods but was closed at the dinner hour on Saturday. Friday we took a few minutes to explore a bar (Fat Pour) and restaurant (Pizzano’s) that were within a quarter mile walking distance. I mention the Saturday dinner because there are few places that deliver Saturday in the area and so we did sandwiches delivered by DoorDash from Kroll’s.

The cleanliness of the entire hotel and the amenities were very good.

I wish the beds were memory foam. It was very uncomfortable to sleep on inner spring mattresses, even with the pillow top. A comfortable chair to sit in would have been appreciated too, 2 office chairs is not good enough.

Check in was easy and staff was very accommodating. Concierge was very helpful during check out. Room exceeded expectations. Very spacious, with wonderful views and was extremely clean and comfortable.

Went to the Arc Bar for dinner and drinks. Bartenders made me feel like I was putting them out. I know they were getting close to closing time, but don't think that gives them a right to be borderline rude and less than professional.

The hotel is very close to exit of the highway and there is no need to drive in the crazy Chicago traffic. The area is the convention area which is fairly well served and I would consider safe for my past experiences. The room was nice and clean.

Some of the furniture in the room was old with scratches and so on - a little bummer for an other wise perfect room and location and a very minor minor problem.

The property was beautiful! We were a few floors from being at the very top and the view was very nice! I am so happy we found this place, and will 100% be staying here again in the future when Mamamoo goes on tour again!

Everything was so nice!

The staff was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the location was perfect for the event at the Wintrust Arena we attended.

The room's electrical outlets were all very loose and anything that was plugged in needed to be pushed in again from time to time to continue using the outlet.
