The location was fantastic - nearby public transit, restaurants open early and late, and still on the quieter side. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage with the front desk after we checked out, and they secured it in a locked room with bag tags. The fitness center and free laundry usage was super handy. The room was one of the cleanest I've seen in a hotel. The room layout also made a lot of sense and was great for working in for two days. Mini fridge and microwave in the room was also a huge plus. The sofa they have in the King suite was very comfortable to lounge in.

The breakfast options were okay for me - there was an array of cereal, grains/breads, and hot food but in Chinatown I went out to get things I preferred instead. In the bathroom, the towel rack is on the oppose side of the room by the toilet instead of the shower which didn't make much sense to me.

This hotel is in the center of Chinatown, surrounded by many oriental restaurants. So food is not an issue here. The design and layout of it fits the image of Mandarin culture but inside, it is definitely a very Marriott style. The room is clean and roomy and everything is simple but elegant. The breakfast is very good to a Springhill chain. The front desk is very helpful.

The front desk informed us the policy of houseclean but we only received twice during our 6-night stay. The houseclean could be more active. The digital key did not work every time so the physical is still more reliable.

Room was clean and I was very pleased with it having a microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast was free and yummy and location was not far from the attractions.

That the free parking was down the street. There was a garage connected to the hotel but you had to pay nightly for parking.

I wasn't happy with the room I was originally allocated, but the receptionist listened to my concerns and moved me to what turned out to be a perfect room that totally exceeded my expectations. I had a corner room, so double aspect windows and a view of the L line and beyond that the Chicago skyline. Yes I could hear the trains, but I loved that (they weren't super loud so didn't disturb my sleep) There was a reasonable selection of vegetarian options available at the breakfast buffet, which set me up for the day. The L station was only a 10 minute walk away, and only a 10-15 minute journey into the centre of Chicago. Lots of places to eat out, including a fabulous vegetarian restaurant "The Veggie House".

The property was absolutely beautiful. Everything is new. The hotel lobby has nice simple decor, not too much. The rooms were so clean. The bathroom was so clean, there isn’t any dirt build up in corners like you see in some hotels. The view is nice with the small exception of if you look straight down you can see the alley however, if you look up and out you can see downtown and all the beautiful city lights. Carpet was clean and didn’t smell of an old smelly outdated room. The staff was friendly and helpful. Tashima and Moses were both extremely helpful!!! Just an overall great experience.

Everything was exceptional! From the hospitality of the staff, location, cleanliness, complimentary breakfast and spaciousness of the room! My siblings and I were very happy and will recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Chicago that wants to stay in a culture hub. 10/10 stay!!!

The only thing I didn't like was not staying longer!

The hotel is situated directly in Old China-Town, about 5 minutes walk to the new China-Town Area. Although it's not situated directly in the city the the L station L station Cermak-Chinatown is very close and it only takes about 10 min to the heart of the city. But for Asian food lovers it is near all the authentic restaurants in China-Town who want to taste the authentic Asian cuisine. The hotel room was very comfortable and clean and the hotel felt very new. The only thing I would like to mention is, that for a Room for 4 people there was not enough space to hang up our clothes and you have to tell the receptionist if you need cleaning in the morning. There is no sign to hang up and it is not done automatically. They served a really copious breakfast from salty to sweet and cereal there was something for everyone to enjoy. As for the staff they were all very friendly, but some did not really have enough tourist information, as for example information about the water-taxi or about the different boat rides around Chicago (they have never heard of a watertaxi even). Here I would like to really thank Mr. Wesley, who really helped us out with booking a Chicago boat tour and provided information about various Asian Supermarkets near the hotel. About the transportation, it was also very convenient, that you could book a cab ride directly at the hotel.

The only thing I would like to mention is, that for a Room for 4 people there was not enough space to hang up our clothes and you have to tell the receptionist if you need cleaning in the morning. There was no tourist information at all, like maps or Tourist sights, also the staff could not offer any information about the different Tourist attractions like that water-taxi or the boat rides.

the location in Chinatown was an experience in itself! Super convenient location, close to Downtown Chicago, convenient, AFFORDABLE SAFE parking, the staff was absolutely top notch! BRANDIE at the Chinatown location was so helpful, friendly, willing to conversate and gave us lots of good tips for exploring the city! She deserves 10 stars!

The place was great. It is quite a breath of fresh air compared to how I thought it may look from the outside. (not that it looks terrible outside - it is just amazing inside!) The beds were a little too firm for me, and I didn't sleep well, but I am hard to please, and my daughter slept better and was more comfortable than at home, so I think it was just me. The complimentary breakfast was great - LOTS of options! There was a nice selection of snacks for purchase, which we appreciated, as we got in late. Staff was so super friendly and accommodating and helpful. We had a great time exploring Chinatown, downtown any city usually being somewhere I avoid due to the anxiety of it, so the fact it was within Chinatown and we could walk to the shops and restaurants was a huge plus!

The only thing that I really was not a fan of was the parking. I actually drove around several times and nearly convinced myself to get a different place because of it. I am glad I didn't, though. While an inconvenience, it was tolerable. Their free lot is about half a mile away which, in the rain, was not the greatest fun of our trip, but I lived. Otherwise, there is parking on the street nearby(ish) for a fee - if you can find it, and I could not.

Hot breakfast was great! Staff were incredibly friendly. Location is right in the middle of Chinatown. You're surrounded by restaurants, convenience stores, shops, etc. We were attending a convention at Mccormick place and even it was within walking distance, or a very short uber/taxi ride away. Free parking!

Very minor inconvenience but the free uncovered parking lot is a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. There's parking attached to the hotel itself, but that garage does cost extra.
