Very convenient location. Walking distance to solider field, restaurants and markets. It smelled so good as soon as you walked in the door and the scent went throughout the hotel. Imagine it’s the “Hilton” scent? Felt safe in this downtown area.

There were a couple of stains on the carpet when we walked out of the elevator and one in our room. It didn’t look like our room was fully ready. We had 4 pillows on each bed that looked like throw pillows and then there wasn’t a pillow in the middle. Don’t know if it was supposed to look like that and then no trash bags in the trashcans.

What an amazing mini getaway! Nice, clean, and well maintained. Very friendly staff from the front counter to the breakfast workers! I was impressed with how pleasant the staff was with all encounters. 20 floors up, the view of downtown Chicago was pretty awesome! Only knock, I asked for fresh towel sets and at the front counter and was told they would be delivered to my room shortly. Never happened. Maybe just give them to me or direct me to the place I can grab them. Other than that, stay was fantastic. Convenient to everything downtown. Little over a mile to museums and Mag Mile. Plenty of eating options too right on the block. Wintrust arena within walking distance. Would most definitely stay again when I come back to the Chi.

no good restaurants inside. we had to find a place that delivers every night. when checking out there were discrepancies on 2 of our bills which were $70 higher then the one and should have all been equally split. said that they couldn’t do anything about it because it was booked on Booking.com. when I made the reservation on the hotel site, I called the number that was on their site because I wanted to talk directly to that hotel. I was a little surprised when Booking.com sent me a receipt. Anyway I am still trying to get the 2 bills reduced like they should be!!!

Great location for McCormick, well-maintained and everything works, very clean, great staff, super-comfy bed; just great.

For some weird reason, one needs to let the hot water in the shower run for a looooong time before it gets warm. The plastic utensils at breakfast are ridiculously flimsy - just one notch above wet bread. Am I being picky? Of course, but only because Booking insists that I enter something here.

Room was very spacious. Quiet. Connected to convention center

The shower was out of shampoo and shower gel. It apparently was not checked when the last person left. I called and they brought me some little bottles of shampoo to use and an entire bottle of gel but did not replace it and take the empty bottle

Location of breakfast was perfect. Fairly large area with plenty of room for many guests. The food was good and hot. Not a great variety but what was available was good.

I would have liked a microwave in the room. We had leftovers with us from dinner but could not heat them up later that evening. I also like a cup of hot water/tea and was not able to do that. This was a minor inconvenience considering our stay was perfect in every other aspect.

Location was good for us visiting our daughter who lives nearby. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Appreciate the complementary full breakfast.

Bed was very uncomfortable. We were charged an “early check-in fee” of $25 for checking in less than an hour before check-in time. Parking was pricy, though expected in Chicago.

The hotel is located conveniently downtown close to many popular attractions. The staff were friendly and accommodating from time of check in to checkout. The facility, rooms, and pool were all clean and well maintained.

Parking is horrendous unless you pay an extra $60 per night for valet. I entered the public parking lot behind the building and there were no more parking spots only valet. The lot does not inform you when full so if you enter and there are no more spots and you have to go somewhere else you get charged $13 just for entering the lot. There is no other parking around the building or at least not told to us when we asked staff. the breakfast didn’t have much to offer the only breakfast meat was turkey sausage (some people don’t like turkey meats) there was no cereal options except corn flakes. You get a choice of breakfast bread, waffles, a burnt mini egg omelet, turkey meat, juice. There were no yogurts or anything.

The front desk staff was amazing and they were very helpful when I left an item there. The Housekeeping staff found it and we came back to pick it up from the front desk. They also went out of their way to help when we needed to get a luggage cart. The valet staff was very nice too. I wish I could remember the name of the most especially helpful person. It may have been Mario.

Nothing. I think this is a very well managed hotel in a busy location.

Great pool- good temp! Elevator fast. Close to green line train and Chinatown

Shares lobby with 3 other hotels- could get crowded. Parking problematic, but usually is in Chicago. We parked at event center and walked over via sky bridge- longer journey in/ out. It cheaper by quite a bit
