Hotel Chicago West Loop

I loved the option to take a cookie and a water when first entering and I like how you had to be buzzed in, for safety, I also loved how elegant the hotel looked and how updated the rooms are, I loved the shower and the provided soaps and how the towels were folded.

The staff could’ve been alittle friendlier, I also looked online first and the prices were lower online, I wish they just price matched with online so I didn’t have to wait an extra 15 minutes for the confirmation to load in their computers after I booked online because the price online was lower. I also got charged twice because of that, because I paid online and thought once they pulled it up that it must not have charged me when I paid again in person, but it in fact did charge me twice so I had to get a refund for one and that was also inconvenient.

The room was fine, overpriced but I get that. What I don't get is being charged two times for a one night stay. They told me there was a $50 deposit held on my card. I got charged $360 two times, that is the room plus the deposit. I called the same day I checked out and was told it would be handled. It was NOT! I have called several times more and spoke with people, no has had solved this issue. One person told me to call some booking.com to resolve this. I am completely dissatisfied with these overcharges! My bank account has gone into the negatives because of this and cost me hundreds of dollars in fees and now missed payments. I can not believe this wasn't handled immediately. I also can't believe that no one I talk to at the hotel has been able to resolve this. This is fraud, absolute fraud. It makes me wonder how many other people this has happened to that didn't pay attention and got severely overcharged.

I will continue to tell you how bad this fraud of overcharging is. I completely understand holding money for a deposit. I do NOT understand then taking the deposit and then charging me again! I have paid $720 for a one night stay that was only supposed to be $315! I am contacting my lawyers. This isn't just overcharging, it's fraud. I also am now getting overdraft fee's and facing late fee's because I did NOT plan on paying two times for one night. UNACCEPTABLE

Hotel was modern with an artsy feel. Close to the United center as well as many great local restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. They enjoyed seeing our dogs and we felt welcome with them. The room was clean and beautiful with a unique mural wall that was the focal point of the room. They offered on-site parking at $25 a day in a gated parking lot. There is also a parking garage next door for $16 a day if you plan on walking or Ubering.

The room was small. Especially with 2 adults, 2 medium sized dogs, and their kennel set up. We were constantly tripping over each other and there was really only a 1 person wide path to navigate the room.

Decided to book at Hotel Chicago West Loop because of a show at the United Center. It was so close, we just walked right to the venue! They also have shuttle options!☺️ The staff were soo nice! There was a fridge, extra toiletries and a keurig! I was so happy with our choice, I really liked the area as well! I'll definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying on the west side of Chi!

The only downfall we ran into was the parking, we didn't arrive until later (530pm) and the small parking lot was full along with the next door parking garage being closed. So we had to download an app and find parking, luckily there was another parking garage not too far away ($12 for 24hrs) and it was only a 15 minute walk.

For me it was a very convenient price and location for my trip. Was traveling for a concert at the United Center and it was a very short walk. The room I had was small but perfect for me since I was traveling alone. A/C worked great and the facilities worked great. Would stay again if I was in the area.

I like that the staff members are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. They offer the option to use the laundry room which is good. Rosemary from housekeeping was helpful and knowledgeable. Breyana, Paris, Breonna, James and Adria were all wonderful staff from the front desk. They made our stay comfortable and pleasant. They gave us very good suggestions on where to go to eat and site seeing. Rosemary explained the best route to take by having me download the Ventra app and Breyana helped me register my information to use the app. The property owner/s should be happy to have a group of staff members like them.

Helpfulness of staff, reasonable price by big city standards. Very convenient location for visiting the city by public transport(bus), which is also very cheap. Artwork on the walls a bonus. Room basic but clean and comfortable. Felt safe in the location.

We arrived at the hotel on foot after getting off the train from OHare airport. The station we chose to get off at was UI Medical Center and it was a long walk from there. With hindsight it would have been much more convenient to get off at Racine which is right near Jackson Blvd and there are buses on Jackson that stop right by the hotel. A 5 min ride. Perhaps this information could be passed on to future customers.

Location is excellent. Safe neighborhood- close to bus stops and reasonably close to the L. Staff was so helpful and friendly! The room was clean and comfortable. Price was great!

Petite rooms could better utilize space. For instance, the shower was extremely tight but if they installed a removable sprayer type shower head, it would be much more efficient. Hooks to hang towels would be great. Giant wardrobe didn’t really fit the space.

Great close location to the United Center for Bulls NBA games , great little nice and clean hotel with enough to keep you comfortable with a hot shower , new tv with lots of channels , using the laptop etc . Comfy beds , great friendly helpful staff. I had a perfect stay and experience so thanks as I appreciated your service provided.

Loved the way the room was done up with pretty paintings on the wall. In spite of being a small room, it had everything we needed for 3 guests - a microwave, full-size fridge, towels and Keurig coffee. I could even find space to do my Yoga practice in the morning. The location is perfect right across a bus stop. So we could get to wherever we wanted to go to. Staff were very helpful and responsive. We left our bags before and after check out and front desk staff helped us order dinner as everything in the vicinity had shut down by the time we decided to head out for dinner.
